Games Sites Changed (Weather?)

It appears a handful of tonight's playoff games have been moved to turf fields. Paris/Raceland will be played at Bourbon County, Knox Central/Shelby County will be at Union College (Knox Central also played there last week), and South Warren/Grayson County is at Warren Central.

Any others?

One of the local fields here is so bad there was an article in the newspaper about how every year in ends up a mud hole. Well it will be a mud hole tonight and even worse for the region finals next week. Unfortunately there is no other option for the game to be played at.

Sounds like somebody needs turf.

I'm guessing that is Pulaski County. Their facility is nice but the field is always terrible late in the season.

If I'm not mistaken there have been efforts to put turf at those schools in the past but issues have arisen. Someone from the area can give more details.

Yes, Pulaski...

It's been an ongoing fight for years. BoE actually voted to buy turf for both county fields a few years ago, then recanted later. Coach and boosters were livid at the time...but they still don't have it.

Some DR was against it and that ended it, right?
