swamprat
Down 2-0 after 1 period, the Bolts out scored the Caps 2-1 in the second to close the gap to 3-2 going into the 3rd. With 9:14 to go, Nikita Kucherov laid a beautiful backhander over Grubauer's shoulder to tie the game. 3:08 into the overtime Kuch deflects the puck off Brayden Point who got his 3rd goal in as many games to win it for Tampa Bay. neilman1234
I watched this game into the 2nd period but then fell asleep. The Kucherov backhand goal that went top shelf was a thing of beauty. I was happy when I looked at the scores this morning and saw the Lightning get the W.
Run To State
Great win! That 4 on 1 save Vasilevskiy pulled off was a thing of beauty! Absolutely outstanding!

neilman1234
Yes, I saw that also. Look out for the Lightning.
neilman1234
My Jackets pulled out a victory last night 2-1 over the Canes. One of the most boring games you'll ever see until the last couple minutes of regulation and then OT. The Jackets were short handed for most of OT and Sonny Milano got a lucky ricochet from an errant shot by the Canes. He drove it the length of the ice and beat Darling one-on-one to win the game with 31 seconds left. It was CBJ's first and only shot in OT and Milano made it count. Milano scored both Jackets goals. This kid has started the season on fire, with 4 goals in 3 games.
Run To State
So far I'm liking the play of Mikhail Sergachev. Kid ain't afraid to mix it up and has decent size. Hopefully he'll stay in Tampa and not get sent back to the OHL.
