UKMustangFan
^I like Adleman, but agree. It's time to see if Reed, Davis, Garrett, etc can string a couple months worth of starts together to build on for 2018.
HammerTime
Garrett has been atrocious since going back to the minors. Saw some speculation he might be nursing an injury.

We know what he is going to be and that's a 5th starter, at best.

I'm sure we will get the Reds ruined him by sending him to the minors the first time.

I haven't seen or heard anything -- has his velocity dropped off or what?
UKMustangFan
I haven't seen or heard anything -- has his velocity dropped off or what? From what I've seen, the thought is he's got a hip issue he's dealing with which has caused his control to suffer and him to leave the ball up out over the plate. mcpapa
They said during tonight's telecast that Garrett had a good outing tonight. Something like 6-2/3 with no walks.

Just Hangin Around
I agree with Thom Brennaman for once these radar guns are juiced. I've never seen so many guys throwing near 100 mph.
