I would have to say 2008. I believe they have a more diverse offense with Guidugli being a better passer then Cecil and I believe that the runningbacks are more talented than last years. The defense is up in the air with me, just like last year this group is getting better as the seaon go's.

The Birds defensive line is back and healthy for the first time this year. With all the key players back this is a formidable unit and just in time for the toughest games before playoffs. With big Rosenhagen, Frank, Dempsey, Dierig, and Fennel, among others, this could very well be the best d-line in the area.

Some good news, Jarred Frank has been cleared to play football after that nasty MRSA infestion!!!

Yes, this team has the potential to be better than last year. The backfield IMO is better w/ Josh, Clint, Head, and Fennell. Guidugli is a more polished passer than Cecil and he isn't too bad of a runner either! The Defense is the area where i believe that last year was better.

You know you did a number on Cov Cath when their student section is leaving before the game is over! This Highlands team is gonna be rolling when Josh and Clint come back! Also to note, Jarred Frank could possibly be back for Lex Cath from that MRSA infection!

Jack of all Trades, I'm going to assume that the antics on the sideline was Coach Mueller yelling. If so, I'm perfectly fine with it. Those freshman showed no emotion before his "antics". They needed a wake up call. They saw that Coach Mueller never wants to lose to Cov Cath at any level. Jake True you are going to be stud at the varsity level.

My son Jarred F. # 56 was disappointed that he and Josh Connor weren't able to do anything to help their teammates out except cheer for them. The Birds will use the experience to their advantage on their way to #18.

Bardo is a good kid, as well as being a good player.......but he's going to wait his turn to be the man just like Tony did.

I have been told by a very reliable source that Frank and Rosenhagen will get 85-90 percent of the snaps on the D line. Frank at nose and Rosenhagen at end. Not sure who the other starter is.

Thank you LN, and you are certainly correct about that rotation last year. Alot of changeable parts to the D line. Even when some of them were injured at the beginning of the year, players stepped up and played their butts off. I'm sure this year will be no different and some of the underclasmen again will get some valuable experience.

Frank started at DE against Ryle and started at Nose against Trotwood Madison and Holmes.

Not sure if someone posted this but in my opinion, Trinity's 59-56 victory over Male in the state finals was arguebly Trinity's greatest win.
