Are you talking about boys or girls leauge? If Highlands boys play at Campbell Co, then Highlands girls are at home against Campbell Co. Also, 6th grade plays at 5 p.m., 7th grade plays at 6 p.m., and 8th grade plays at 7 p.m.. That is the way I understand how the leauge works.
When I opened the thread about St. X beating Elder, I thought that I would see stats, etc about that game. Not opinions about how great Highlands is. If I wanted to read about how high Highlands should be ranked, then I would open one of the many threads that are about that.
If Mr. Maile is willing to do it for free, then that is a very generous offer of his time. I just did not think that it would be enough to lower tuition.
How much does a high school basketball coach make? I find it hard to believe that it could lower the the cost of tuition if Mr. Maile coached for free.
I would think that if a High School baseball player does not play a fall sport for his high school, then he could/should play fall baseball. I do not think that most high schools would have enough players to put a school team together. Most serious high school players can easily find a team to play fall ball with.
My guess is the early 90's. Before that they were in the OVC with EKU, Akron, Central Florida, Morehead, Murray, Middle Tenn State, Marshall, Tenn Chattanooga and a couple more that I can't remamber. While it was called D-1 AA, some people did not consider it D-1 football.
What was the score? I remember a kickoff return by Luke being the only score of the game. BTW, our kicker was not suppose to kick the ball to him.
Pretty harsh to go 9-1 and not make the playoffs, but now you can go 1-9 and make it. To me I think something in between would be a better system
Game time is 4:00. It is 3:10 right now and the radar does not look good. They may get started with light rain but the heavy rain is not far behind. I doubt the whole game will get played. Hope I am wrong!!!
I think that if a coach does not give his subs some time through the course of the year then he is not doing his job. While winning the game at hand is one of his first concerns, when given the chance he needs to give his future starters some experience. I am sure that Krumps learned alot about his subs, and I am sure that the subs learned alot about the Varsity level of baseball.
As far as TOG statement, you will not find anyone on BGP pass out more compliments to CovCath players and their opponents. While the statement seems a bit strong, I am sure that he did not mean to come across so negative.
