Is the league full? I believe a school would have to drop out in order to make room for a new school to enter. This is what I had been told but I do not consider my source reliable.

From the teams I have seen... Holmes is the best with Highlands and Gray close.

Holmes is very good. Very quick and yes their press is difficult to break. They do seem to rely on the 3 point shot.

I believe that it came from the movie Caddyshack. If i recall it was said right as a golfer attempted a putt. It has been a long time since I have seen the movie.

Off nights happen in sports. Illness and injuries also happen. So far from what i have seen I would put Highlands and Holmes as the best 2 teams IHM's 6th grade has played. From what I know Gray will be very good also. I have a feeling that our schedule is going to be very tough from here on out.

I was at the same game that hoop5 is talking about and that is exactly what happen. Parents from the other team trying to make loud strange noise to throw off the 6th grader trying to shoot foul shots. It is part of the game to be able to block that out but show some class.

That is a surprising outcome. IHM played with 4 players for almost the entire second half against Woodland before losing losing by one point at the buzzer. Having played both teams, I would have thought that Highlands would have won easily.

Nick is a 6th grader at St. Pius. Tall and quick. Handles the ball very good. He is the only Thelen that I know of... there may be more.

That is too bad. NKMSL offers very good competition for the most part. Pretty well run also.

If Blessed Sac plays in the NKMSL, then he could not do both. There is a rule that if you play for a high school then you can't play in the NKMSL.

I know that Conner beat CCH in 1983. They had a stud running back named Melvin Miles and I think they won State that year. That might be the last time Conner beat Cov Cath. I could be wrong.

If the plan is for him to attend Cov Cath, then why would Villa want him to play for them? I would think they would be better off to develop kids that go to school at Villa or are planning on going to Villa. Also, how would you like to be one of the guys riding the bench or getting cut so that a kid that is not even in the school there can get playing time? Maybe he is planning on going to Villa. Even if he is not, this post is not meant to be a knock on him. He has nothing to lose by playing for Villa. I have seen this same situation happen in volleyball and softball at different schools.

I do not think she has played volleyball at NDA for the last 2 years. I guess she could be playing club volleyball.

Do you think it gave them an unfair advantage? What are the rules for who can be on the sideline? If there are any.

So how does this work? The home team gets to pick the crew?
