Hey, I would like to say that I am very impressed with the entire Gallatin Co School system for what they have accomplished with football. They took their time, investigated and did not get into a big ol' rush to compete with the varsity level. Coach Browning and his staff have done an excellent job putting thier kids into positions to make plays.I have not seen a single game but with a 6-1 record, I can guarantee this is what happening. I don't care who they are playing. by the way Mack the Knife, I wasn't trying to compare scores, I was just asking out of my own curiosity

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Ludlow lay it on Gallatin Co. pretty hard when the two teams scrimmaged this year?

Look, with this day and age of the internet, everybody is exposed. I live in Northern Kentucky and I wouldn't know half of the things that go on around the state if it wasn't for BGP. Fans are usually quick to display their happiness or discontent with the X's and O's that are displayed on Friday night by their favorite team. To me though, that stuff isn't nothing the coaches are not going to see on film. I would like to use an example of job openings and the Henderson County situation. All the Coaches that applied for that job had their names all over this website due to some "leaks" in Henderson. When a few coaches had applied and did not get the job, they had to explain to their players and the school administration why they did apply, feeling that they had lost the trust of the players and administration. The internet is a deadly thing sometimes to your confidentialty if you are in the coaching bussiness and that is just the risk you take these days with the internet and the information age just a thought.

In 1999, Highlands beat Campbell Co. 88-12, and I believe it was 1997 that Henderson Co. beat Ohio Co. 95-27. Now I just hope that Coach Faust and Bracken Co. can recover!

I really do not think it should be a big deal if a school wants to jump up in class now and days. Highlands can compete with anybody, Beechwood and New Cath can give any big school a run for their money if not beat them. So someone before mentioned "logistics", I can agree with that also. If you can play with them, then you should be allowed!

As I stated in the prediction thread "Beechwood by as many as they want". But hey, Dayton can get a lot better finish with a 9-1 record and prepare themselves to get after Beechwood in the playoffs. Dayton has good players, good coaches, there is no reason why they can't finish 9-1 then get after the Class A playoff schedule!

I just remember they beat Dayton. So If I am correct, the district would have gone as followed NCC Beechwood (Out of these two, I can't remember who won the district that year) Holy Cross Ludlow Bellevue Bracken Co. Dayton But still futurecoach, you and I can agree that Bracken Co. is not a hopeless situation.

O.K. they were not one win away, that's a bad stat on my behalf, sorry about that. :confused: But they did post a 3-7 record, and had a district win! So winning is not impossible at Bracken County.

Hey All In, why are you so derogatory about the little bit of success that Bracken has had? Are they going to win their district, probably not. I mean Bracken can be succesful. I believe it was in 2003 they were just a win away from making the playoffs. Do you feel they will never compete? Why do you have such angst about their ability to become a competitive football program?

I'll go out on a limb here and say Scott by just a little just because this is a prediction thread. Scott put up 41 points but it was against an Anderson County that had posted a 6-4 record in 2006 and did not even make the playoffs. Then again, I wouldn't be suprised at all if Dayton pulled this one out. I truley believe that this will be a toss up game. I'm picking Scott just because of school size. I know its' kind of stupid, but like I said before, this game is truley a toss up in my opinoin.
