It sounds pretty one sided, I figured this would be the outcome.

No doubt. I thought Beechwood by 28, but they are the far superior team. I heard their starters didn't play much in the second half. Can anyone confirm? Dayton will rebound and be just fine.

Dayton decided that "maybe we can play with them" for exactly one drive. They scored, and then on the ensuing Beechwood possesion Elliot converted a 4th and 20 scramble from about the 30 into a TD, and that was it... pretty much gave up... they have some work to do... it doesn't get much easier now with Ludlow pretty much facing a "must win" now next week against them...

I wasnt in attendance, but from what it seemed like after Elliot's run, Daytons confidence went down and that was the end of it. Good luck to the Devils next week vs Ludlow

Not what I expected.

What happen to the senior studded Dayton line I heard so much about? They were dominated by Beechwood. The D ends for Beechwood, Mainello and Bessy, did as they pleased all night, well 2 quarters. Hoffman, Kazan, and Davis, were awesome. This team is the cream of 1a!

Sets up (what can be assumed) a battle to not have to play Beechwood in the first round of the playoffs between Dayton and Ludlow. Should be a flat out war!!!

I will be the first to come on here and say I expected a much better game. I still think Dayton will be the 2 seed in the playoffs.....

As I stated in the prediction thread "Beechwood by as many as they want". But hey, Dayton can get a lot better finish with a 9-1 record and prepare themselves to get after Beechwood in the playoffs. Dayton has good players, good coaches, there is no reason why they can't finish 9-1 then get after the Class A playoff schedule!

From what i heard Dayton's line on both sides of the ball didn't have a good game at all what so ever.

I'd take Bellevue as 2 seed if there's no 3 way tie.
