Beechwood 46 Dayton 7

Featured Replies

I will be the first to come on here and say I expected a much better game. I still think Dayton will be the 2 seed in the playoffs.....

So you think Dayton will beat Bellevue? and if so why?

From what i heard Dayton's line on both sides of the ball didn't have a good game at all what so ever.

I guess this would have nothing to do w/Beechwood's line being any good. I would give credit where credit is due, maybe Beechwood's line finally came together and played the way expected. Dayton's line is big but came up against a bigger one.

I would have to say the Bellevue Tigers would have the 2 spot.

I know we are gettin away from the thread but, i see dayton finishing the season 9-1 playing Ludlow in the first round and meeting back up with the tigers in the second

Well there is only one way that could happen now, and that is if Ludlow beats Dayton this week, and Dayton beats Bellevue. Then we would have a 3 way tie, and would go to tie breakers, and who knows which way that would go then...

Wow I said Dayton would not play close with Beechwood, and I had people telling me that I had no clue what I was saying and must not know football if I thought that. But it looks like I was dead on with what I said, so who is the one who dont know anything about football?

I disagree there. Dayton may muster out a win against Ludlow but won't beat the Tigers this year and dont' forget they have to travel to Erlanger to meet Mr. Yeagle and the Juggs. I think Dayton finishes 6-4.

Bellevue on the other hand will probably have a tough time beating NCC and Beechwood but should roll in other games. Lloyd travels to Bellevue and that should be a big win for the Tigers.

Beechwood will roll everyone. They are loaded this year.

I'll agree on the Beechwood part but having seen Dayton scrimmage twice and play once, and having seen Bellevue play twice I'd rate Dayton a slight favorite over Bellevue right now. However, Dayton, Bellevue, and Ludlow all aren't separated by all that much.

Dayton put together a pretty good drive against Beechwood almost 80 yards not for sure. Daytons o-line and d-line didnt get the job done the d-line was in the linebackers lap all day not a good thing. On the plus side Daytons passing game got going some interceptions but not much they can do with the interceptions when the running hits the quaterbacks leg when he goes to release the ball. Some Dayton players looked scared and the team they got to beat to even dream about state is Beechwood and if they plan on beating them they better have a great rest of the year and beat Ludlow and Bellevue and show that they are the second best team in the district. Then come to play against Beechwood in the playoffs also Dayton better not look ahead they have a pretty good Lynn Camp team come from down state in two weeks. Also as stated earlier a pretty good Lloyd team.

Well i see Dayton beating Ludlow and Bellevue and ya ill give it to you traveling to Erlanger and playing the Juggs will be a big one but i see the Devils pulling it out.

Dayton 9-1

Beechwood is just going to roll through 1A NKY this year there is not one team out there that can touch them... doubt they will play any close 1A games untill the playoffs

They should have just went ahead and moved up as well. But I guess they just wanted to add a few more just about guarnteed state championships to their trophy case...

Nothing is guaranteed and no one from BHS is thinking that way. One game at a time and on any given night, well you know the rest.

Frankfort and Mayfield I am sure will have a little to say about Beechwood guaranteed a state championship.

Will Beechwood think about moving up with NCC in the future years

What happen to the senior studded Dayton line I heard so much about? They were dominated by Beechwood. The D ends for Beechwood, Mainello and Bessy, did as they pleased all night, well 2 quarters. Hoffman, Kazan, and Davis, were awesome. This team is the cream of 1a!

I disagree there left end did almost nothing all night. I dont know that he had really any tackles. I'm pretty sure its Bessy, the 6ft6 kid
