I truely could not see Mike Wolfe taking the Dayton job, he has a better gig as the D-Coordinator at Ryle IMO.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mike Wolfe coach there from 94-96 (those years could be wrong) and left for Campbell Co. in '97. I'm not trying to make any significant point, this is just my own personal interest.

He had to begin to work on his masters degree. Trust me when I say this, Nick Rice will put his masters aside in order to maintain the current success that Dayton has had.

Keifer will not leave Amelia for two reasons. 1) Amelia is beginnig to get better, I beleive they went 1-9 in 2005 and 3-7 in 2006. It is work in progress, but they are getting better 2) Pay, his teaching job pays a whole lot better for the simple fact that he is in Ohio. It will be hard to find out who next head coach is. I can tell you why I do, I had such an awesome experiance playing for the high school coaches I played for. We had good winning teams and now it is something that I wish every high school player could experiance! I remember the practices more than I do the games. I remember my teammates better than I do the scores. I remember my coaches more than my own classmates. I can honestly say that my coaches and teammates did more to prepare me for life than any other thing or experiance.

Brossart only has three returning starters on Defense, that would be hard on any coach to come right in with!

Will Roy jr. still stay on with Lloyd. He stated that he would be interested and him and Yeagle have a coaching history together. Is that a possibility. R.J. is a great coach and I would love to see him. I played for Roy sr. at Newport and Roy jr. was his OC. He is positive yet disciplined. I only wish the best for both coaches and Lloyd!

Congrats to both CCH and Coach Brossart. Cov Cath got a coach who WANTS to stay and Coach Brossart got kids who WANT to play football. Now I hope it works out for the both of them. Good Luck to both Coach Brossart and Cov Cath:banana:

If it Brossart, Cov Cath got a good coach. He did wonders at Finneytown in a tough CHL league. Now it is time that a coach that good finally get to coach at a school where football is a top tier thing.

Yes my bad, I do mean GMC (Colerain, Princeton, etc,etc,). I do see what you are saying, please do not think I'm trying to undermind your point. And it all goes back to the fact that until something is done with the school and the family situations for some of these kids, Holmes will never be a true powerhouse. They will be a good cyclacle school with the right coach. I can only wish Holmes the best of luck. I was very fortunate for my playing career in both High School and college and wish these kids could experiance the same success.

Withrow is FAR from a top program in Cincinnati. The top programs are the GCL schools and the MVC schools. The FAVC has a few good teams here and there but CPS (which Taft is also a part of) football is nothing near comparable to what is in Cincinnati. There are few teams outside of the CPS that are afraid or even intimidated by Withrow. Good coaches will not stay in those schools for long. Mike Martin will likely stay at Taft, but do expect Doc Gamble to be gone in two years (If not this coming year.)

Finneytown still is not that great of a place. Brossart has done an awesome job, but his J.V. team only had 12 kids on it. The next few years they will be O.K., but Finneytown is one of the less desirable jobs in the CHL. They will probably not make the playoffs in the near future, but they can still finish with a 7-3 record again.

Absolutely. Even though I do not like to get on Yappi and read how they constantly down us, we have to give credit where credit is due and High School Football in Ohio is another ball game. Not that there are better coaches or better players, they just have MORE of everything. I don't know about some of you on here but I will be rooting for Colerain. NKY gets a good feed off of Ohio because we are so close. That is probably why NKY is the best football in the state, with the exception of a few Louisville teams. We all are part of some great tri-state area football. That is why I root for the Cincinnati teams when they play in events like this.

Absolutely correct CountryBoy07, It is going to take some time because the program is still at ground level. IT'S GONNA TAKE TIME! BCHS and its' powers to be need to realize that a football program is more than just going out and practicing and playing. There is a ton of time in preparation that goes into it. During the season and off season.
