I wouldn't think that would be a good fit - with Coach Billy Hicks being the uncle of former Greenup Coach Jim Bob Hicks??? Don't get me wrong - I think Hundley will make someone a GREAT head coach, but I don't see it being at Greenup.

It's the wrong board, but the toughest draw in the state HANDS DOWN goes to the Scott Co. girls team... They won their district tournament and are ranked #1 in the state and drew Lex. Cath., the #2 ranked team in the state in the first round of regions. BTW - Lex Cath won this game tonight...

That freshman guard at EKU doesn't have any problem shooting there. I don't think most kids these days put much stock in "good shooting gym" stuff. They play AAU all over the country in all kinds of gyms. If they go to 5-Star camp they even play outside... I thought EKU's gym was McBrayer Arena...

Not sure exactly what's going on with this thread, but... I saw Jimmy John a couple of years ago waiting tables at a Ruby Tuesdays in Lexington. Still looked like he could lace them up.

Can the KHSAA limit the number of coaches on the bench? If so, there are a few teams that might have to cut back.

Did you see how many calls MC got against Woodford? The finals were ok - MC beat my cards fair and square, but I don't see how the coach from Woodford didn't go crazy the way they were treated in the semi-finals. By the way - we're not shakin... Just looking forward to the rematch.

This team is good, but I'd take the team with Rick Jones, Scott Hundley, AW Hamilton, Casey Alsop, Toby Harris... as the best that Hicks has ever put on the court at SC.

Coach Hicks is smart enough to focus on Frankfort High - for now. IMO - Tates Creek, Bryan Station, Madison Central, and Lex Cath are ALL more than capable of beating my Cards.

Madison Central got the tough draw - with Tates Creek. However - they got the worst draw last year too - playing Station in the first round. All it did was give them the confidence to become region champions. The Saturday games at EKU will be more than worth the price of admission!

Golfer - I think Tiger Woods or Jack Nicholas might look better as your avatar...

It's a pretty good draw for my Cards. The second round match up with Lex. Cath. should be a good game - and who knows which teams will make it to the finals. There should be some great games... Tates Creek at Central should be an awesome first round game.

It could be Station, Tates Creek, or Frankfort High heading to play the first round game at Madison Central.

Good to see GRC putting it all back together at the right time of year. Good luck in the regions.
