The Cards did just what they needed to do....take care of business. GRC was led by Evan Bennett with 20 points. What a game he played tonight. I know he had 4, 3's and several foul shots. He also shot the technicals call on Montgomery. One for slapping the backboard, the other for undsportsman-like conduct on one of their players. Very physical game as I knew it would be.

What I was most proud of was the way the Cards came out and out scored MC 19-4 in the 3rd quarter. Josh Wood played a excellant floor game tonight and ended up with 7 rebounds and 6 points. Tristian Jones was in foul trouble most of the night. Bergman and Tatum Lewis came in and did a great job on Jorden Stephens. Preston Knowles had 16 points and had some passes and rebounds that were unreal. Robel Rogers, you just have to love the way this kid plays, Mr Hustle and Defense. Robbie Stenzel another great game, he plays so controlled and will step up and take the big shots, and yes....he is our 8th grader.

VERY proud of you guys tonight.:thumb:

Montgomery Co boys played with heart, their shots just would not fall. Best of luck Indians in the region. I look for you all to make some noise.

Congrats to the Cards on the win and I just hope you draw Brossart on the OTHER side of the bracket.

That's true, but you haven't had the opportunity to play the senior led, ALL A State Champions. It's YOUR TURN to play them now. : )

Wow. Was not expecting this to be a blowout at all. I actually thought the Indians might have a shot at pulling off the upset here. Apparently Knowles and company came to play tonight.

Yes they did. 2 down and 3 more to go to get to State.:thumb:

I am going to start the GRC bandwagon and climb on it.:thumb:

Gold sunrise I am rooting for you all to run the table in the 10th. I will back any team coming out of the 40th and if it doesn't work out for Clark Co. who ever else wins the 10th.

I think Brandon Rash played an excellent game for the Indians. This kid is a sophomore, and may be one of the best defenders in the region. He has given Preston Knowles fits all season and again tonight Knowles got most of his 16 when Rash wasn't in the game. If Bart takes the cuffs off this kid on the offensive end I think the sky is the limit.
