The Doss coaching staff seemed lost all season. There weren't enough basketballs to go around for all their "shooters" and they made little or no effort to consistently pound the ball in to Brooks. He's a Division I player; get him the ball!

That is exactly why they lost alot of the games. Coaching was the prohblem all year. He never had control of his players and never ran his offense through Brooks.

 

Best two players in the region in Brooks and Anderson score a total of 8 points in the second half against PRP. Pound the ball inside to the big guys. They had a 4 point lead with about 7 minutes to go and tried to play stall ball. They should have kept attacking the basket. Ohh well too little too late now.

Wait a minute. According to a buddy of mine that was there and a report I read, Davin Anderson shot 3 of 18 for the game and had numerous turnovers. Clemmons made a ton of mistakes at the wrong time and was shooting bricks in the 2nd half and Brooks stood outside and did not hit the boards and be active in the paint second half. Doss shot 30% from the field as a team for the game.

 

Coaching can be bad, but this team couldn't hit a shot and didn't take care of the ball.

Man, I dislike this. I had Doss in a pool I am in.
