Tough region to get out of but boy the team that gets out should do some damage at Rupp with the favorable draw. I think it is a toss up between J-town, Ballard, and Eastern but that is just my opinion.

I want to say that I was very pleased with the crowd especially from Bracken Co. That might of been the biggest crowd in the Fieldhouse this year excluding the Lexington Catholic game. I'm sure the Mason Co. crowd helped out but still very impressive.

Bad draw for Bracken but I promise you they will give it their all and at the end of the day that is all you can ask for. Best draw St. Pat could of asked for and with the way they are playing now I think they can do some damage.

Menke has problems when she isn't the go to guy on the team. If she would of showed up last year and did anything close to what she is doing this year they would of been playin in Diddle.

I wont say that Pittman led his team the the state championship game last year. Henderson was definitely the heart of that team and was the reason for them making it so far. You are right Pittman's scoring off the bench definitely helped them make that run to the title game. Millers sophmore year Mason Co. made it to the state tournament by beating Clark Co. Pendleton Co. was also really good that year and Mason Co. wasn't supposed to make it to state. Im pretty sure in the first round they beat a good Warren Central team then ending up losing to Apollo on Friday. Millers junior year they got beat by Clark Co. who had Preston Knowles which is looking like he will have a pretty good career at Louisville, so didn't get beat by a bad team or anything.

Yes Miller is the reason they won the majority of the games but it was not a 1 man show. Pittman does have the ability to be better than Miller if he keeps growing and progressing like he should. I am just saying right now he you can't say he is as good as Miller until he does the things Miller has done. When Miller was a sophmore he led his team to the state tournament, notice I said led, Pittman was the 6th man on last years team. So by saying Pittman is only a junior isn't helping the argument because Miller was dominating as a junior too. I don't see many people saying Pittman is better, just the Holmes homers but you all have the right to your own opinion. I am a big Pittman fan, I love the attitude he plays with on the floor but just don't think he is on Millers level yet. He will be a high D1 because your right he probably will grow and his wingspan is crazy. All that stuff is in the future though and we are talking about right now so I will stand by my statement, Pittman is not on Millers level yet.

Have you ever heard of Russ Middleton? He is very capable of handling pressure and Mason Co. was no where close to a one man show last year. Trevor Setty, Ethan King, and Keith Downing were also on that team along with Middleton. If Pittman can do so many things why does Holmes struggle so much against other teams press? Why isn't he handling the ball breaking it because from the looks of it the Johnson brothers or Riley aren't getting it done? Yes they have been still winning but you know you are worried about how much they have been bothered by other teams pressure. As of right now Pittman is a 4 in college because his ball handling skills aren't on par to be a 3 in college. In high level college basketball you don't see many 6'7'' power fowards so therefore Pittman either needs to develop better ball handling skills or grow some. I will admit he does have potential but you should know better than to put him in Miller's category, that just isn't being fair to him. Almost every time he shoots a 3 it is spotting up and he has a slow release. I'm not going to sit here and degrade him though, he is a very good player, but just let him play and dont put comparisons like that on him.

You all say that Pittman's perimeter defense is better than Miller's? I have been to a couple of Holmes games this year and last year and have yet to this day see Pittman defend a shooting guard or point guard. Last year Miller would often times defend the other teams shooting guard or point guard just because it was the best player on the other teams team.

Pittman shooting off the dribble is no where close to Miller right now. For Mason Co. last year, against strong presses Miller would play point guard to break it. Maybe you all think Pittman is better since Miller has been struggling of late. How people have such short memories...

Pittman has been dominating and in my opinion will be the best player in the state next year but I do not think he is on Miller's level. Pittman's mid ranger jumper, ball handling, passing ability, or ability to defend on the perimeter is no where close to Miller's. I might give Pittman edge on shot blocking and spot up 3 point shooting though. Again no disrespect to Pittman but as of right now he isn't on Millers level.

What about Mason Co?

Oh, thanks. I never really looked into it, I only saw Franklin Co. beats Scott Co. so.... But Franklin Co. should be ranked if Clark Co. is ranked 16th.

After Franklin co. big win over Scott co, who is ranked 3rd in the state by bgp, they are definitely worthy of a spot in the top 20. Does anyone else agree?

GREAT WIN FOR THE ROYALS!!!!!!!!!:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb: I see the Royals making it far this year if they keep up the improvement and intensity on the defense end, I do think we could see more of the bench players on the floor, Rice can really stroke the ball as well King, B.Lang as improved much as well, very athletic and versatile, he can add depht to the already strong bench, goodluck tomorrow guys, LETS GO ROYALS!!!!!!

I know Harrison ended up with 5 points. For some reason he didn't get in at all during the first half but started the second. When he came in he definitely made the team better and I thought changed the game with his pressure defensively. His 5 points came off a nice floater and a 3, he only shot 3 times I'm pretty sure. Aaron Watts for McCreary really impressed me, he is so strong and can finish at the rim. He also has a nice jumper on him and didn't really seem to force as much as you would think.

Do you all think if Harrison grows and his body feels out that he could be D1?

How many did Harrison have? But yeah I am with you, he is going to be special.
