  1. Who are some of the better players for Lynn Camp?
  2. Pendleton county had their 2005 team play the 2006 squad in the summer of 2006, the game cost $7.00 to attend with attendance being poor. I think everybody involved thought it would be a large crowd when the even was planned.
  3. Sure do remember that great team they had back in 96', was a real feel good story. As for this year they need to develop the talent they do have and I think that can be done easier after having the experience of playing with a talent like Neely.
  4. I had not seen the schedule for this year but it is better suited than last years, going out on a limb and predicting a 17-20 win season. I also think Lambert is one player nobody knows of at the present but will make many all- region lists.
  5. Is Pendleton ever going going to get a new field, maybe in Falmouth?
  6. Pendleton county should be an interesting team this year, virtually four starters return in Lambert, Feeback, Greene and Harden so the experience is there this year. Will have to go to a pressing attack and improve thier shooting touches to improve on the record from last year and offset the loss of the "Hurrikane" to graduation. Since Kane was the last piece of the recent Pendleton glory days it's time for this group to start a new era and expand on the success of recent years.
  7. I said to many last year Tony Browning at another 10th region school would have averaged 20 points
  8. I think they are a better team by far this year and at times the seniors hurt them last year. But they will be missed.
  9. Now Can you really say the better coach?
  10. The big three, Downing, King thats my starters.
  11. The new kid, Phil Barner, is extremely talented and could play alot of minutes this year. He's a bout 6'5" or 6", athleticism galore and has a decent set 3. The Royals got alot deeper with him.
  12. Pendleton county will win the 38 in 08, virtually four starters return from a team that if you took away "HurriKane" had no previous varsity experience last year. The team took their lumps throughout 07 but I think those hits will pay dividends in 08. Look for Harden, Feeback, Lambert and Greene to really step up their play this year.
  13. Jeremy Thompson is a stud!!
  14. Terry Davis from Pendleton County who only played 2006 on varsity, don't think he even scored a varsity point in 2005.
  15. They should hire Jason Sharp as the coach, one of the best ever from Owen!
  16. The only schools that would have to deal with bad roads to Cynthiana would be Mason county, St. Patrick, Augusta, Bracken county and Deming to some extent. The 40th and 37th district schools including Pendleton would have very good roads to travel.
  17. I can't really understand why Harrison county hasn't knocked out the wall in their gym closest to the road and add on seats. If they did this along with remodeling of the facility they probably would be in the regional tournament site rotation. On a side note the city of Cynthiana would have to step it up in the hospitality department. For the last two district tournaments they have hosted when the games let out you have only one smoke filled McDonalds as a place to eat.
  18. You would think Grant would have more success than they do, fairly decent sized county but for some reason they don't get it done. Is Kinmon at the end of his rope? I believe there was an article in the Grant newspaper calling his coaching ability out and giving ideals how to get the program going.
  19. Totally agree with the above assessment, Clark is Clark and they won't turn into sisters of the poor overnight. I think everybody in the 10th is playing for second place to Mason and which for some of these young teams can translate into valuable experience.
  20. Clark county will be in the mix come tourney time, just to big of a school and a great deal of tradition to be down long.
  21. In my book it should stay at the Fieldhouse! The Fieldhouse in my book is not Mason counties gym it is every fan in the 10th regions gym in some fashion. Maybe my reaons are old fashion but from a historical perspective it is the only place to have the 10th region tournament!
  22. I agree with Phillip Hay on the Tollesboro/Maysville game it was a great one but I still don't think it compares to Pendleton/Brossart. That Pendleton/Brossart game was so loud at times you could not hear the person next to you speak, and who ever thought you would have to have shuttle buses for an event in Brooksville, Kentucky. When you walked out of the gym that night it seemed you were in downtown New York with all the people scattering.
  23. I'm getting help from BG Green on this one! Is the Pendleton vs. Brossart 05 district game the greatest ever for district play? Great crowd, great atmosphere and a great deal on the line for both clubs. I stood in line for two hours in 19 degree weather so it had to be something big.
  24. Has there been any official word on the location/site of the 08 tenth regional tournament?
  25. I agree with Bird Man on Mains, steady floor general who I believe started all four years of high school and was bumped, beaten everytime he brought the ball up the floor but got it done just the same. Also, in my opinion put Mason O'Hara on the list, the way he shot the ball during the 2005 regional tournament was outstanding yet he never gets much publicity.
