EthanKings#1fan
I'm getting help from BG Green on this one! Is the Pendleton vs. Brossart 05 district game the greatest ever for district play? Great crowd, great atmosphere and a great deal on the line for both clubs. I stood in line for two hours in 19 degree weather so it had to be something big. Very exciting game. And very, very nervewrecking.

I wasn't there for that game but I have a hard to believing it lived up to the hype of the BBHS/PC game in 05.
BGGreen
While both games were very exciting and nervewracking; I'd have to say the PC/BBHS game was the best; only due to what was on the line!! Both BB and Scott were assured a berth in the regionals, and were playing for pride and seeding; and no matter who won they were going to be rated behind Clark Co. and Mason. Could either have beaten both teams, sure if the cards fell right; but they both would have been considered upsets!! In the '05 game, a district opener due to non-seeding of the district, all the marbles were on the line--Loser went home, and unfortunately it was my Mustangs!! In addition, the winner of that game was an absolute lock to win the region, as evidenced by PC's virtual cruise through the field in Maysville!! #1 Fan--I also remember that very cold and long line to get into that game; but the sheer magnitude of that game, and the "winner go home" nature made it the top district game in my memory!! The hype for that game, a district first rounder, was worthy of a regional final with a trip to Rupp on the line; which of course we all knew it was!!!! Word was both sides were going to try and overflow the place and many would be left out--Probably would have happened had the weather not been so darn cold!! 4pointplay
PC/Brossart game was an unbelieveable first round game. Scott/Brossart final last year was also a great game. Hard to go wrong with either game but would have to agree with BG in that PC/Brossart had more on the line with it being a first round loser go home environment. I will say that the Scott/Brossart game was an absolute slugfest with both teams making big shot after big shot. the game didn't lack any intensity just because both teams were moving onto the region. Southern Gentleman
1. Brackens upset of Brossart 3. PC beating Brossart 4. Some of the Fleming Co and Mason Co district games were dandies. 2. 3 overtime thriller of Mason Co to beat Maysville and ended up going to state, could have stopped there- on second thought that might be one or two!! Sorry for numbers out of place. 5. Bourbon Co and paris have had some dandies also, esp when Robinson played for Bo and Paris had Chez, Dumphords, Sims etc! Those were great games. Philip Hay
Maysville/Tollesboro 1991 You beat me to it. That was a great game!! Tollesboro won 110-107 in overtime. Those two just kept trading punches before the Wildcats picked up the win. 1999 wasn't bad either as Fleming County beat Mason County 72-69 in overtime also. 1984 was a prety exciting game also as Mason County hit a buzzer beater to beat Maysville 65-63. If memory serves me correct it was current Mason County coach Chris O'Hearn that hit the game winner.

It was 1987 and that one went to just one overtime. Maysville's Chris Wilburn hit an incredible shot at the end of regulation to send it to an extra period. The following year it would have been a game winner as it would have been a three. But instead it was just a two and my 'Dogs got beat in ot 69-64. It was still a great game even if Maysville did get beat.
KY Thorobred
Harrison County and Paris used to have some great ones back in the 90's.
SkipToMyLou
Wasn't Josh White's 3/4 Court buzzer beater in a district game? Maybe not the greatest game but a memorable shot.
