St Patrick captured the 39th district championship tonight. St Pat seniors came played a wonderful game.

 

Great job by Cora Chamberlain with 3 three pointers and several rebounds

Leslie Pfeffer did another great job running the floor.

Molly Parker provided the hustle tonight

 

Junior Ann Klee, Cierra Payne, Chrisma Payne added the defense.

 

Sophmore Brooke Mosler again added an offensive spark and rebounding

 

Freshman Chelsie Douglas provided offense and defense tonight

They forced I think 26 Bracken Co turnovers.

 

Their Defense was very good.

Congrats Lady Saints, 39th district Champs and a 20 win season (20-5). Congrats also to the Lady Polar Bears on a very fine season and continued success for both teams at the 10th region tourney.

Only the 2nd Time Ever the Lady Saints have won 20 games. Congrats!

Congrats to the Lady Saints. This team was very special, and I think they will be for several more years to come.

 

I was pretty close in the predictions thread. I had them winning by 15. I just knew if they came out ready like they did against Mason then there was no chance.

 

Good luck to both teams in the region. Represent the 39th well! Hopefully they can both stay away from that 40th district!

I want to say that I was very pleased with the crowd especially from Bracken Co. That might of been the biggest crowd in the Fieldhouse this year excluding the Lexington Catholic game. I'm sure the Mason Co. crowd helped out but still very impressive.

Bracken co. always travels brings a good crowd to the postseason tournaments. Even though we wont be init, don't be surprised if a stron contingent is at the BoK next saturday.
