Corbin has to many athletes for the Jackets. Tayler needs to maintain his composure. When he went out Cunningham became the point and they had nobody who can score from the wing consistently. Teague had a big game. Corbin's physical style frustrated Williamsburg in the second half.

Whitley plays as hard as anyone. They lack a go to guy but have a bunch of athletic kids who can play. St. John is a horse. He is much improved over last year. 18 in a 44 point game is a huge game.

Corbin has to many options for Williamsburg to match up. Coach Robinson has the Jackets playing hard but the Hounds are loaded. Petit must pick up his game for the Jackets to be competitive in this game. He is the missing piece to Williamsburg stepping up another level.

Les you are being hard on the Raiders. They have a good core of players who are young and should be much better come district time.

I am surprised by the score in this game. I expected Corbin but not by this much. Corbin is on a huge roll right now. I still think Bell wiil be a worthy foe come region time.

It looks like Coach Woods is working his magic again. These teamsa could end up playing 4 times.

Homecourt is always a factor when two teams this close in ability play. MC by 7.

Corbin by 10. Bell will be a very tough out come tournament time but Corbin is playing well right now.

Cunningham got off a good shot. The Jackets would have been down 15 if he had not scored 26. Crawford always plays hard. Jeremy Daniels changed the momentum of the game with some big shots. LeBanion is the differance between these two teams. LeBanion is to strong for anybody on Williamsburg to handle. He needs to take more shots.

Wombles and Neace were both overlooked. Cumberland is gratefull. They are both lighting it up this year.

Harlan just needs to get a year older. They have played young kids the last couple of years and that will pay off next year. 14 is a lot of seniors in class A and lots of seniors usually means a good year. Coach Donahue will have them ready to play. He needs to find one speed kid who can take it to the house on any given play.

I know Hazard is good but what has happened to Pikeville?

Hazard is the team to beat. PCC, Knott and Letcher have enough horses to do that. 3 wins in this region will be tough. There are alot of teams that can sneak up and upset one of the favorites.

This is a great tournament and raises a ton of money for scholarships. PCC and Hazard would make for a great final. I hope that Corbin And McCreary Central are invited next year. Knox Central will also have a nice team. Next year could potential be McCreary Central's best team ever. Watt's is pheonominal and Rob has a bunch of young kids who are very athletic.

South misses Womble's athleticism and Sizemore's steading hand. Sizemore's importance to this team was vastly underestimated.

Coach Rains has done a great job in a very tough district. He has skilled kids who will get after you. This district is a toss up. South is still the favorite but this shows any of the four teams are capable of winning it.

Clay is the favorite but the 13th is more wide open than it has been in a long time.

Josh Crawford is finally healthy this year. If he were in college he probably would have been redshirted last year. He has regained the spring in his step. He is a good student with a very good ACT score. He is a great kid with a nice game. This sounds like somebody a school should invest some money in.

This was a great game to watch. Sanford was a tough match up for Corbin but over than that they matched up well. Madison Johnson was the second best player on the floor. He appears to be stronger and more athletic this year. Josh Crawford helping against the press was instrumental in this win. His combination of size strength and skill is very seldom seen in high school. He also is very unselfish and wins are more important to him than numbers.Smith and Manns did their normal dirty work. They both must wear hard hats to the game.

SL needs to find some one who can score other than Saint John. He has improved a bunch but he can't do it alone. Corbin playsd more kids and they therefore get after it harder. South basically plays six. A breather would do wonders for South's kids. Corbin played well. I love to watch Manns and Smith because they are warriors. They are the unsung heroes for Corbin.

This is pretty even. Whitley is deeper and Williamsburg can not match up with LeBanion so I will go with the Colonels by 8.

Corbin, South and KC in this tourney has made for a 13th showcase. KC has the best player, South the best first five and Corbin the best overall talent.

When St. John got in foul trouble South really struggled. They need to develop some of the young kids or they will be sent home early. Little Smith and Sizemore look like they could fit that role.

South Laurel has the best first five but the young kids at KC are tough. South looks as they only want to play 7 and the bench is very shaky. South needs to develop their bench or foul trouble could catch up with them come region time. I love the kids off KC's bench. They'll be someone to contend with the next several years.

This sounds like a preview of the 13th region. the place will be hopping. I would expect big crowds ands a great atmosphere. Gaffney could spoil everybodies party.
