Final.

Good job Hounds.

Not surprised Corbin won, but the margin of victory is a little surprising.

I expected a much closer game. Nice win.....

Corbin played well offensively and were able to get it inside the paint pretty easily, plus Johnson was on from the outside again which made them hard to defend. Bell has some good shooters, although they relied on the outside shot too much. Their ballhandling was a little suspect against pressure and the turnovers got them into an early hole they couldn't climb out of.

Wow doesn't seem like Bell was in this one.

How'd this game play out? I hear Crawford and Hendrickson played well for Corbin tonight. It appears that Johnson also had an outstanding game. Was this a game where Corbin's talent and depth put the game away late or was it one that was over from the get go? Excellent win for the Hounds regardless. Nice way to defend the home court and solid convincing win over a solid opponent and rival.

Corbin jumped out to an 8-0 lead and led by 10 at the end of the first quarter and maybe by 11 at the half. Bell made one run midway through the 3rd after Corbin had pulled Crawford and Wilson and cut in down to 5, then Corbin jumped out to around an 18 point lead after three quarters and put it away. Corbin basically played 7 players until late in the game and all 7 played well.

Corbin, South and KC in this tourney has made for a 13th showcase. KC has the best player, South the best first five and Corbin the best overall talent.

Bell Co. will get better. Zachary does not appear to be in basketball condition yet and really struggled defensively, although the Bell Co. team as a whole did not play well defensively. Corbin was able to get good looks in the paint and the Bobcats seemed to want to either try and induce a charge call or would just hack the shooter. Bell looked to be well coached and run some nice offensive sets, they need to get it to #51 more often and he needs to finish.

I agree with your observations 100%. The football kids have to get some practice time in, I think they have practiced 4 times together so far. Also they must get in basketball shape. I think Madon could be a key for the team's sucess down the road. His ball handling and ability to run the point will help take the load off of Zachary. The big guys have to perform. Robbins and Chambers were non-exsistent in the Corbin game.

From seeing Corbin they are the most talented team in the 13th. I wish I could see the SL/Corbin game tonight. Best talent vs. the best Team.

You are being very discreet and I agree with you. The best talent vs. the "best team". Should be a great game and I intend to be there.
