If you go to KHSAA.ORG/SCOREBOARDS you can then click on the baseball scoreboard and see any team you want when they all get the full schedule on there.There is a drop down at the top where you can pick a team or look at the entire state.

Apparently your glass is half empty. My comment was not intended to be any thing other than finding what the young man has done other than what I know about. Therefore the question "what has he done". Do not try to make the words out to be what they are not. Remember, I said he would be on the list from the get go. I, like you was told some things that happened. I guess it depends who you talk to. There was nothing back handed about my comment. I do not attend many CCH games to see for myself. I will say the 9 th region is loaded with junior talent. If they were able to make one team of these kids I feel they would challenge for a state title.:thumb:

You did not read my post right AC. I said he could be on the list, but on the back half. I am not putting the kid down. I asked what he has done to be on the list. In my personal observations and in talking to some involved with the U16 Colonels, there were some struggles. I can name a few pitchers that would have very good stats pitching behind that line up. On the point of 87 MPH, sorry, I'll have to see it. If the size and speed is right, he should be drawing interest from some big time schools. Best of luck to him on landing a great school.

I agree with Hempel, he is a very good player. What has Shumate done to say he must be on any top 10 list? He may fall in there, but in the lower half. I seen him pitch a couple games over the summer and did not fair very well. I was also told he did not have a very good summer from a couple of his team mates. He certainly struggled the summer before. JMO I thought Nick was not playing baseball anymore. He was going to play tennis??? Josh Bertke should be on the list. With all of the experience he already has at the varsity level and big wins on the mound vs. quality teams. Tyler Sexton at Dixie has a very good chance at a breakout season if given a chance. I guess we can each view a player differently, these are just my opinions.

Should be an interesting first week of the season for the Tigers. They play Newport opening day, Highlands the next day, Ryle on the 29th and Dixie on the 30th. Dixie is on the road.

We each have our opinions. I guess ours differ. First off, I think he is a great kid. He will get the things corrected that need to be. He has his moments on the mound where the control is hard to find. He always hits. He probably would of been the lead off hitter or at least in the top 3,IMO. I guess we will see if the pitching that Coach M has to work with will come around and prove me right.

Larimore will be missed more at the plate than on the mound.JMO

The info I have been told is that Miles wants to go away to school and mom wants him to stay close. Our mutual friend also kind of shocked me when they told me Miles does not really want to play in college. I am curious how true this is or if it was just something he may have said joking. I did pass along my feeling of Zook and this will probably be his last year. I guess we will know soon. :idunno:

ND already has a commitment from a top tier tackle out of Illinois I believe. They are still in the running for James from Cincy St. X. I am curious how Tate fits in there having to switch from end to tackle going into college.

Is Roenker (sp?) going to play this year? If so will he pitch or be a position player? I know he has been troubled by a bad shoulder. I heard he had surgery. True or False. Hope he is OK.

I just hope the Mayfield fans are not intimidated by his size.

I am not sure how this will turn out. I hope Beechwood wins. I do know you can get used to most of the names you will hear. Most of the players for Beechwood are juniors and sophmores. There are only 8 seniors, I think. Go Red And White- TIGERS!

Nice save Ram Fan04. I hope the others are over looking Beechwood. They probably should, Beechwood lost a ton of talent from last year. They have some injuries to deal with. They also have not lost a 1A game in a couple years and are the 2 time defending champions. Beechwood is not the same team of the last 2 years. The last 2 years teams will not show up in Mayfield Friday night. LCA is number 1. IMO

Congrats to Bellevue on a great year. Ricky Buckler is an awesome football player. Congrats on all of your accomplishments. :notworthy: papa, you have believed in your Tigers all year. You have defended them to the very end and deservedly so. This has to be one the best teams in Bellevue history. Congrats on a great year and thanks for your support of the Red and White Tigers. Congrats to Beechwood for the win. Speed kills and it did tonight. Looks like it will be a high flying affair at Mayfield next week.

If you look at Tru B 33's avatar you can see a picture of the Frankfort team. I agree with VOR, he is not a Beechwood fan. At least on a regular basis he is not.

Please do not misinterpret my comment. By saying they got him the record, meant it as a team. I may have not worded it exactly right, sorry. I am not trying to take anything away from him. It just seems like alot to ask of a young man. I hope he stays in perfect health and gets to finish his career healthy. I know what it is like to see a young man lose the ability to play the game he loves because of injury. I still get tears in my eyes from time to time over it. Congrats on the victory and good luck!

The second to last regular season game against Beechwood he carried it 37 times. In the season finale against Lloyd it was 49. I am not sure of last week, but may be 27. Now 50 tonight,wow. They got him, or he got, the records but at what cost? Can a young athlete who hardly ever leaves, if ever, the field keep this going? Congrats on the win Bellevue!
