True. I have seen them at meaningless games. I would buy a paper if I knew there would be coverage of NKY though.

One of the biggest and best games in the region thus far and where was the press??? What a shame this game was not covered. I will and hope all join me in sending an email to the enquirer voicing displeasure in the lack of coverage for NKY sports in the paper. JMO

Myerhoff is not the only coach I have seen use this. I am pretty sure Krumps has put it to use before. They did not throw the ball to second. Krumps did say something to the first baseman. I think his job is to stand in front of the bag forcing the runner to go around him.

He starts his #1, brings in his #2 (who some or one think is the #1)for 3 batters I think, pinch runs in all the right situations and he is playing BW like a fiddle?? The 2 HR'S came off Severson to put BW up 6-1. Begrfeld hit his 3 run HR, Leeke walked and Cot went deep. That was all with 2 outs and the score tied at 1. CCH mounted a threat in the top 5. With 2 runners on first and second and a run in, Arnzen singled up the middle, Leeke put his throw right on the plate and the CCH runner was out by a lot at the plate. BW added 2 more on Cots single up the middle in the 6th. Bertke pitched well. I think he gave up 5 or 6 hits. The breaking ball Severson throws is nasty. The plate umpire for tonights game has to be one of the best in the region. I have seen him a few times this year and he does a quality job every time. Nice win, a chance for the one seed is still out there for either BW or HC.

Wow! State titles, number of wins and awards have nothing to do with Class. I can also tell you your program is not respected across the state. Like I said earlier, I have heard across the state how bad it is to play there. That is not respect. I understand what they are talking about now. I will say I met a few very nice people in my 2 days there. If all of the fans sit on the hill, I suppose the folks sitting in those bleachers on the first base side were just there to see a ball game and yell at players??? I wonder what school they cheer for if they are not fans of HC.

Once again, if you only knew what you were talking about. Check the schedule Walrus. I know you hate BW. Apparently because you could never beat them I guess. They have not played Dayton, Holmes, Villa or St. Henry yet. Since you do not know I will tell. Ashland at the time was #1 in the 16th region and East Carter was #2. I am not sure where they are now, but I am pretty sure they are at least close to that. they are very solid ball teams.

You are living in a fantasy world. Where were you sitting? The kids sitting behind the plate area were calling BW players by name and saying stuff that is uncalled for at any level of youth sports. I can not believe "your umpire" did not say something to them. It is all good with me. If you want to be part of that go ahead. I have heard from people around the state how terrible it is to play there, now I know. I would tell you my exact feelings on the situation as I see it, but I can't do that on here. The Breds fans see it their way and the rest of the state sees it a different way.

Matt Brennan pitched very good for BW. I believe Martin started for HC. Number 11 came in to pitch in the 5th. Cody Gohs put BW up 5-3 with a 2 run single in the 5th. I do not keep a book and I am drawing a blank at the moment. Fowler hit a 365 (estimate) home run to center. The HC catcher (I think) hit a 3 run HR (About 325) to left to put HC up 8-5. This is all I have right now.

Bored again I see Walrus. BW does not need an excuse and they do not hide from anyone. You want to play them, find a mutual date and they will travel. I am curious to what happened for you to constantly bash them? If you looked at the schedule and knew anything about teams through out the state maybe you could see they have played some very good teams. HC beat Greenup Co. 10-7. BW just got hot at the plate last night. Greenup is not a bad team. They are not as good as the teams that have went to sate the last few years.

That is not right. I did not think you would know. He said we are pitching him inside. Fowler hit 3 home runs in two games today, one in this game. I am pretty sure anyone that knows anything about baseball would think you need to pitch him inside. If he gets his arms extended it is gone, at least at that ball field. Throwing inside is not throwing at a player. If he was going to throw at him, I am fairly sure he would of hit him. He took exception to being pitched inside. He walked in the at bat, BTW. If you want to no class look over in your dugout. A coach that degrades players and intimidates umpires, come on. The student fans sitting behind the plate yelling things at the BW players by name or number. This game changed after a BW single to left that put BW up 5-3. The HC coach thought the previous pitch should of been a strike. He goes to the mound, stares down his 3rd baseman that did not make the play, when the ump gets there to break up the conference he says something to him and his calls he started getting. It is funny how the HC faithful and radio announcer comment on how the BW coaches act. I have never seen a coach act that way from HC, Sad. BTW, If this team is a state contender there are not very many good teams in Kentucky. JMO

Clyde, Spartan mentioned why that would not work. Ryle and Dixie played at Champion at 5:15. BW- CCH would of had to play afterward.

Boone County should at least be mentioned. They have a good combo of Teegarden and Lauman on the mound. They play solid defense and find ways to score runs with speed and power. JMO

If the runner that hit the SS was moving from 1st to 2nd and trying to break up a double play, that would be the plate umpires call. Once the field umpire gets the out/safe call of the play at 2nd he turns to first for the call. The plate umpire is then responsible for any interference, sliding across bag and so forth. I am pretty sure this is correct. Please feel free to correct me if I am not.

Boone should be the number one ranked team in NKY and the favorite to win the 9th region. My previous favorite, Cov Cath, comes in at number 2. Congrats Dougie on another great outing. I see #7 swiped another bag. How many does he have on the year now?

The fact that CC won those games does not bother me at all. I could care less if the Camels go undefeated. It does not bother me that the Camels beat BW. It does ,to me, seem like a lot of innings this early in the season. JMO. I would not hang your hat on any victory over any team this early in the season. Congrats on the good start to the season and best of luck the rest of the way. These two victories should carry the Camels far this season.
