Beechwoods weakness is Bellevues strength. I have not seen Bellevue play but know they run alot with Buckler. I think this game will be closer than some may think. Beechwoods speed will be a problem for Bellevue, IMO. I know last year there were some BIG hits by Beechwood on some of the outside defenders for Bellevue. Some hits that they never seen coming. If echoes of these hits are still ringing in the heads of Bellevue it could be a long night. This game matters for seeding and I look for a rematch in the regional final.Beechwood should take care of business. Buckler will get over a hundred yards, but will it be enough? I don't think so. Buckler goes for 125 and 2 TD'S Rigdon 140 rushing and 75 passing with 3 TD'S Colosimo adds in 135 and a TD Vocke (sp?) 85 rushing/ receiving, over 100 in returns and a TD BW 40-23 GO Red and White Tigers!

I thought Beechwood was home through the playoffs this year. They have had to travel to Frankfort the last 2 years? :idunno:

Just to be clear on the BCPWFL, the kids in this league do not go to certain schools. There may be kids from all 4 high schools on a team in the BCPWFL. To say they did not play well is not fair. I understand some may go to BW, CCH or elsewhere. These kids live in areas that say what Boone Co. school they go to. The only exceptions are those who go to CCH OR BW or have parents in the school system and can take that child to the school they teach at.

HHS by alot. They are the much better team. The only way this is close is if HHS is still celebrating the Big Win.

First off, get used to your school being bashed. There are people on here that simply live to bash other schools for just existing it seems. Personally, I could care less. With Cooper being in the class with Ryle, Boone, Conner and SK it will be tough. Secondly, apparently you care and every other player, parent and coach involved with freshman football do. If I had time I would go to games, so I guess I care too. The coach deal worked out great for Cooper. I am not saying he is the reason for the success, but he does a good job with the kids. If you did not know the talent that was coming to Cooper from the BCPWFL you did not follow that league much. I do not have a kid in the league any more and I knew the talent that there was. Best of luck the rest of the season, especially Thursday.

From what I have been told by a person close to the Cooper program they tried to move up. Beechwood was originally in the so called big school bracket. when BW had about 10 freshman move out of the area or just leave BW it left them very short on frosh players. BW requested to move down to the small school bracket due to not having enough frosh players and it was granted. At that time, Cooper wanted to move up and take the place of BW. This would of helped greatly, no need to do the schedule over. Just flip flop the two teams. One of two people at Cooper, either head varsity coach or AD, said no. They did not want them to play in the big school bracket. This seems pretty dumb to me,JMO. Being somewhat familiar with some of the players at Cooper, I figured this team would have a very successful season. If any of this is a little off please correct it. I think it is pretty close to the facts though.

You can't be serious. BW steps up every year and plays against bigger schools. They knew when they picked up HHS this year that they had a very small senior class. That did not scare them away. There is no shame in losing to a school who dresses twice as many players. There may be some shame in losing if you are the bigger school. BW could of went and found smaller teams that they could beat easily I am sure. What do you get from beating teams by 6 TD'S. With numbers smaller and injuries to some key players could be the reason. This will be my guess. Like it was said earlier, why worry with this JV game when district games are coming up. JMO

Not bragging by any means. Stop trying to read into what I am saying. Go back and read some of the post in the prediction thread. Statements like- they have been together since 8th grade, they are bigger, stronger, faster and something about a new game plan. I am sure these are comments by people who are not fans of another team. Apparently you have no idea how young BW is this year. There are more sophmores playing than juniors and seniors combined if I am not mistaken. I may be wrong about that, but it is close if nothing else. I will state again, I felt HC would win this game as many others did. I am sure HC will have a very good year. You may also be surprised to know, I have no dog in this fight. Not trying to talk crap to anyone. A couple fellows (or ladies) made some strong comments why HC would win this. I wonder what the feelings are now? I figure there are more parents/ fans on here than players anyway. By no means am I running my mouth. By the big fella comment, maybe you know who I am. If so, I hope you are in better shape than I when you are my age. :lol: I just feel with all the experience of HC and the youth and injuries to the Tigers this could be considered a bad loss by the Indians. I wish I could of been there. Sounds like a fun game to watch from either side. As stated in the prediction thread most of these players have been playing together since 8th grade. HHS Ryle SK Conner Boone Dixie CCH BW HC CC/ NCC HHS is 3 TDS better than SK,IMO. When do Ryle and SK play? That is a game I want to see.

I'd say Mr. Simpson will love to hear this. Boone may want to fix that run D before they meet SK.
