Highlands, they can name the score. Once again Dixie not up to potential.

HIGHLANDS by what ever they want , They are to fast for Dixie....

Dixie will score some points...but they will not stop the run.

Highlands 38 Dixie 17

Well Highlands will be coming off a huge emotional victory so right now its possible they COULD (and I can't emphasize that enough) have a let down against a potent offensive team like Dixie. With that being said, it doesn't help matters that Highlands starting QB, Will Bardo, is a big question mark as of right now not too many people know if he will return next week, if at all if his injury is more serious.

Highlands just needs to take care of business next week where afterwards they will have a bye the following friday to allow them to rest up and recuperate.

Bardo will sit this one out.The birds could win this one with their freshman QB. Highlands #1 D will shut Dixie out and hold them to under 150 yards of offense.:ylsuper:

St.X scores 7 but Dixie scores 17???? Please explain that to me..

The only way they score 17 is if the JV defense plays the entire second half and that would still be a stretch.

No Bardo means a lot of running from the Birds they will control the game on the ground and there D is too good.

If Bardo doesn't play its probably not a "name your score" game. The youngster just doesn't appear ready to throw the ball on a regular basis. He's a sophomore so that's to be expected.

Dixie's O gets by on speed and passing. That works against a lot of teams. It will not work against HHS.

Dixie's D really struggles tackling. I'd look for the HHS backs (plural) to have a big game.'

The positive for Dixie is that between the qb injury and the X win this is definitely the only time you want to catch them.

Highlands by 21. They will have a little mental let down after last week.

Definitely this could be a dangerous game for Highlands... I am sure that the players are sore after the Saint X game, and it will be hard for the players to maintain total focus this week given the emotional rollercoaster they've been on these past few days.

Keep focused and working hard 'Birds! Take state!

Highlands cruises, they may not be tested again unless they play Bowling Green in the finals

Ashland is playing very well this year, and I NEVER overlook CovCath whenever they play Highlands!!!! But I digress...

Like I told someone last night, shades of 1995.
