I look for the Colonels to pick up win #2 of the season here.

CovCath will win by 21. Their rivalry doesn't come into play this year. Beechwood just doesn't have the man power. Evidence was the Highlands game.

I agree, Campbell County is better than Beechwood and CC ran over them. I'd say CC by only 3 TD's only because it's a hugh rivalry.

While I agree that CCH is the favorite I do not necessarily agree that the Camels are better than the Tigers. What evidence do you have for that?

What evidence did the Highlands game offer about a Beechwood matchup against CCH? When the first teams left the field in the Highlands/Beechwood game, Highlands was up by 3 TD's. If Highlands played CCH this weekend, do you think Highlands would be a 3 TD favorite?

I think at this point Highlands would have a 3 TD or more advantage on CovCath, being that they beat Ryle by as many, who beat CovCath by as many. So Highlands beat Beechwood by 3 TDs right? So I'd say this game could be a pretty darn good game. Both teams are rebuilding, and honestly I think talent wise are about evenly matched. CovCath has an advantage with Erpenbeck, but Covcath isn't going to win games being one dimensional, so hopefully this game they come out with some different facets to the offense, and if they do I'll take CovCath by 2 TDs. If not, I say it will be close, down to the wire, CovCath still edging it out. Also to add to this..heard Colosimo is making his name known...so that could be a difference maker too. Who knows...hmm.

I would not agree that Campbell County is better than Beechwood. The Camels have always been either an on or off team, in some ways just like Dixie has been. I might even agree that Cov Cath has the better team. With that being said, this will no doubt be a hard fought game until the end. B-woods' defense still needs some improvement stopping the outside run. Both teams are not the the same team as they were in week #1.

From what I understand, the Cov Holy Cross QB did quite well in running the ball against Beechwood, if so, then Erpenbeck will have a field day! However in saying that, Beechwood had better not key too heavily on #10 as if they do Schaeffer, Gray and Slabaugh as they did against the Camels Friday night will get left alone and do some damage on the ground!

Should be a good hard fought game!

I look forward to seeing if Erpenbeck is even half the player Walker is for Holy Cross. If you haven't seen Walker play, check him out and you will know what I am talking about. As far as running the ball, IMO he is better than West, Bardo and Wilson. I know Erpenbeck has put up some serious stats and I am sure he will get yards. Beechwood's porous defense has much work to do.

He's every bit the runner that Markel is plus he's a better passer. Passing is the difference between the two.

Passing wise, Erpenbeck is without a doubt better than Walker. But Walker is a better running QB...better runner period. And he is more athletic size wise. That being said, Erpenbeck will still get his yards and if he is having a good night passing and Connelly is catching everything coming his way like Friday, CovCath wins by 2 TD's. If not...it's a close one.

I am interested in seeing him in action because if that is true, Erpenbeck deserves to be in the discussion for best QB in N. Ky.

Saw him at the CovCath vs. Cov Holy Cross scrimmage and Walker is a very good QB, but he doesn't have as many weapons surrounding him as Erpenbeck does. As I said before, if Beechwood keys to much on the CovCath QB, the other RB's will kill Beechwood!
