  1. The Royals live by "Find A Way to Win". As long as they believe in themselves, there is a way!! I'll agree, the Royals will have to bring their A game and execute a near flawless game plan to win, but they can do it! :flame:  I hope the Camels are overlooking the Royals as much as you are.
  2. This game may be closer than some think... especially with Mason on top at the end. A 2pt conversion may be the difference here, to go for the win instead of a tie. Go ROYALS!:thumb: Mason 22 CC 21
  3. This game was in Greeneville. It'll be a long ride home for the Titans.

  6. Why the quiz?? I was laughing at the red devil flames!
  7. I agree... its tough! BUT... The Royals show class week in and week out. Anyone that knows anything about Coach Buchanan and how he runs his program knows he is nothing but class. Homeless and James-Russell should rest assured that Coach B would not run the score up and Ivan McGlone knows him better than that. Its all good!:thumb:
  8. IMO, LC lost some talent last year. They lost one heck of a coach in French and I think the Pats are definitely rebuilding. Nothing against Mercer's accomplishments last night, they did totally dominate the game. The Titans are a much improved team from last year and should look for advancement come playoff time. I just don't think measuring the Titans' abilities agains LC is a good measuring stick at this time. Good luck to the Pats and keep rollin' Titans!!

  10. Mercer by 3 or 4 TDs. IMO, Lincoln Co. is down in talent, kids learning new coach, new system... Mercer is a better team this year than last. It definitely won't be comparable to what we saw last year.
  11. Nice job by QB Tre Dunn! The more snaps he takes the better this young man is going to be. He has incredible potential, not to mention a cannon for an arm! I would think his performance last night should have decided who the Titans QB is.

  13. Agreed about QB Tre Dunn. :thumb: Don't know why Tre took the snaps during the scrimmages and then not start under center against Madison Central. Trevor Short is a very talented athlete that would help the team in other positions as he is very capable of making things happen. I hope to see the guys a little more fired up this week and come out hungry for a win! Go Titans!

  15. Mercer seemed to lack this... I didn't see any 'fire in the belly'.

  18. How did the Titans look? What about the qb... who took the snaps?
  19. Yes, the 2007 QB was one of those. The backup, Trent Dunn, is said to be a dandy and many think he may be the best fit for the QB job this year. 2008 should be a good year for the Titans as they have a lot of returning talent. Best of luck to 'em!:thumb:
  20. What I'm referring to in comparing Buchanan to Jaggers is that I have read on various BGP threads/posts in the past several years that Jaggers goes after a job, interviews, is offered a job, accepts and then declines. Of course, I don't know if all of that is true or not, I was just saying that Buchanan may talk to different schools, but he doesn't call them up, say he's interested, go through an interview and then say 'thanks but no thanks'. If he is contacted, he listens. Anybody (coach) has that right so I'm not negating that. My comments weren't referring to Jaggers' ability as a coach or that he hasn't had success. He has. And for Burger House or anyone else who may be thinking I'm Coach Buchanan, I'm not. Coach B is Chiefsmoke and he has never tried to hide here on BGP. :thumb:
  21. So have they already conducted their interviews? Will the new HC be named next week. From what I have read, I thought they were still getting the committee together. Suppose Settles has already told some folks.
  22. The schools that he has ever been interested in have contacted him FIRST. His decision to listen to what they have to say is his. And to compare him to Jaggers is like comparing 'apples to oranges'. Be careful on making statements concerning things that you are not educated about!
  23. HATZ, its obvious to me Burger House doesn't have any substance to his case or he would have already responded to the various inquiries on his picks. Oh well, there's one in every crowd.
  24. Are you whacked?! In all your other comments you have totally bashed Buchanan and his coaching credentials and claimed he is nothing more than 'mediocre'. Please, at least be consistent! Don't start riding the rail and saying he is a 'top coach' when you speak quite the contrary! :irked:
