No excuses here, just a fact - Mason County's starting inside linebacker didn't play as he has been out all week with mono. Sometimes losing a skilled player in that position can make a bigger difference than you'd think in stopping the run.

That's basically the way coach B said it. Hate to see this happen. Royals have had some good years and teams to make some noise in the playoffs and I believe they have what it takes to win the title this year! Fearis is gonna have to step up and play like he did tonight as it looks like his number's been called.

Yeh, just listened to the coach on the radio show. You can hear the devastation in his voice... doesn't look good for Pawsat's return according to coach. And of course, this is a blow going in to the playoffs. Hats off to Fearis, back up QB got the job done tonight! Congrats to coach Buchanan, his players and staff! 10-0 undefeated regular season is a huge accomplishment. Hope the players can rally and make a run in the playoffs! :thumb:
