QB Darion Lewis for the Titans has a lot of potential and gave a great spark to the Titans last week. He is inexperienced and that showed in a few plays last week, but overall the young man really was impressive. There are many hurdles the Titans are going to have to overcome to get another win this season. The loss of Johnson, young QB, bad snaps on punts, and fundamentals of tackling to name a few. Saw too many kids trying to shoe string and arm tackle last week. You can't do that and win games. Fundamentals looked weak, but I'm still pulling for the Titans to have a successful year. It won't start tonight though against a very solid, fundamentally sound Rebel team.

Very frustrating game to watch. Backup QB Darion Lewis showed a lot of promise and was a huge spark to the Titans offense. He got the Titans moving down field. Made an inexperienced error which resulted in an interception, but I liked what I saw in him. He'll be fine... should be a dandy as he gets more snaps and game experience. Burrus and Banks had a few nice drives. Don't know why Banks wasn't involved in the offense sooner in the game like RememberThis said. The line was blown off the ball... shoestring tackle and arm tackling won't get you very far. Fundamentals looked a little weak and that will be more evident against the BC Rebels next week. I'm pulling for the Titans and want to see these kids and the football program build to a tradition of winning. This team does have talent..., the middle school has success and championships everyear, why is it when they get to the high school level the success doens't seem to follow? Does anyone know about the Titans off season workouts, weightlifting... summer 2 a/days? Are we working our butts off in the offsesaon to enjoy the benefits of it on Friday nights? Football season starts in January, not June! Hang in there Titans!! Keep fightin'!

The way the system is now,... as in 2010? Not clear on this statement. There may be no state championships, yet, but they have won numerous district and a couple of regional titles. But the fact that Mason Co. Schools now enjoys success in both basketball and football is great for the community. I'd say Mason is still a 'basketball' school, but they do love their football too. Let me tell you what Mason Co. has done in football. WINNING! Building a program, and a 'tradition' of winning! Yes, there have been a few subpar seasons, but since Buchanan took over in 1996 the Ragin' Royals have turned a major 'basketball school' in to a school that loves their football too, and this includes the community. I won't say Mason Co. will ever be a 'football' school, but to ask "what has Mason Co. done in football" is nuts!! Since 1996, in the various classes: 2A, 3A and 4A 'good wins'! Tates Creek, Lafayette, Breathitt County, Russell, Ashland, Rockcastle. The year Mason beat Tates Creek they were Region champs that year and the season before... We all know Rockcastle, Russell and Lafayette are no slouch schools (each have had down years, but Mason Co beat them when they were in their prime!). Well, most of us know the caliber of teams they are.

Great start for the Titans!! Already much improved over last year. Keep it going!

I could hear the frustration in Coach B's voice on the radio after the game. Rest assured, I'd say you are no more frustrated than the coaching staff. I have total confidence in Coach Buchanan and his staff!! Look for improvement each week. The Royals are going to be fine!
