Boyle County by plenty. No disrespect to Mercer County but Boyle County is just the better team. Mercer County is still in the rebuilding process. I'll say the Rebels win by as many as 5-6 td's. Good luck to both teams. I hope to see a hard fought game by both teams.

Boyle wins big !

Boyle gets their first running clock of the year as well as their first shutout of the year. Boyle will be fully rested, Mercer lost its #1 running back in James Johnson and likely their starting qb in Alex Guay. Looking forward to seeing the game on the turf for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boyle wins big.

Boyle Co. 49-7.

Boyle by 28.

First game on the new Boyle County turf, correct? I'm expecting a sizable Rebel victory.

Wonder if the new turf might cause a problem for the Rebels? Have they played on any turn surface this year?? I know that as a former player our team didnt play on turf very often but when we had the chance to it def messed with us a little bit, also isnt newer turf a little slippery, idk im just wondering?

We scrimmaged Pulaski County on turf at Centre and played at Johnson Central on turf this year. We have had some practices on the new turf but not as many as I am sure they would have liked. The freshman team has played a game on it. Other than that the soccer teams have played all their home games on the turf. If it's slippery for Boyle it'll be slippery for Mercer but I don't think it will matter. Darrion Lewis will be making his first start at qb this Friday and frankly he's a good kid but I feel sorry for him or any sophomore qb making their first varsity start against a rested Boyle County defense.

Boyle 147

Mercer 7

147 points might be running it up, eh?!:D

Boyle wins big.

Boyle wins by one over Mercer.
