Great game by the colonels without 3 starters. The JR's really stepped up to the task.

I'm suprised CCH has only played BG once. I thought they have had a couple meetings.

Benke can throw the ball good even when he's in pressure. He is a heck of a player. And a great leader.

Mabe the accuracy, but I agree not the range. Only a few in the nation has the range like Popham has as a high school student.

CCH has an enrollment of only abot 500 students. But the are all boy. But they are still moving up to 5A. Also Beechwood is much smaller than most of the schools they play, but they are staying at 1A next year(i believe).

I would have to say CCH is the best NKY football team. Ryle and HHS in a close second place. I was at the CCH/Ryle scrimmage and CCH didnt have trouble moving the ball, or stopping them.

It might not have been, but it looked like it. Im not taking anything away from Henderson, it just seemed like they came out to this game differently than the others.
