I have a request... If you own a business in Northern Kentucky and have a message sign out front of your business, how about giving Newport Catholic, Covington Catholic and Ryle some love.

If the small towns like Paintsville can do it for their team, why can't we in Northern Kentucky give some backing to the team that represent our area in the State Finals.....

Go Breds, Go Colonels, Go Raiders....

Okay next year, if and I say if, the boys from Ft. Thomas made it this far, I will ask for the same thing....I promise......:thumb: :D

Really, it was so neat driving into Paintsville and seeing sign after sign after sign, cheering on their Eagles... It was really, really neat, and I am sure that in our area we could do the same thing.... Even the fans from the team from Ft. Thomas want the teams from NKy to do well don't you? :D :thumb:

The businesses in The Fort already do that for the team during the playoffs. The enthusiasm grows the further they make it in the playoffs. You have to remember, The Fort is a little of the beaten path and we are kind of our own little world over here. It isn't like Cov. Cath. and Ryle folk are driving thru town every day. Now as for NC, there are plenty of NC families and businesses in town that make sure they know who they are and what they are about to accomplish. Go BREDS

If The State game was played in the Fort then we may talk, but for now make your own music.:D

You make it sound like Jericho!

I'm pretty sure that if I were to drive down Dixie Highway on my way to the 2007 State Championship football game and Highlands was in the 5A state game, there wouldn't be one sign in any store front on Dixie Highway that would say Go Birds Win State. Just a hunch but don't think it's going to happen in my life time. However, please prove me wrong.:thumb:

Heck Henry, I will have a hard time getting the Principal of NDA to post a message on the NDA board rooting on CovCath which as you know, is right across the street, but it is worth a try....:D Nothing good, comes easy....

There was a Ft Thomas state team many years ago, that noticed a big letter about every 100 yards or so on the side of 71 heading south as the team traveled to the old Fair Grounds, we could steal that idea:

"G'....."O"....."C"...."O"...."L"...."O"...."N"...."E"...."L"....."S"..."W"..."I"..."N"..

"S"..."T"...."A"..."T"...."E".... ...just an idea....it was pretty cool. Don't know if it's legal to place signage on the side of the interstate.....but nobody seemed to care...

The Fort USED to really paint the town up when HHS was in the playoffs. Now that "everyone" is in, it isn't as "special"...unless you're playing! Even the cheerleaders and band are more into competitions...which for them is good, I guess. But it takes away from the atmosphere big time! Heck, when HHS is going to the finals, the Catholic church in town wouldn't put a "win state" message on their board...and a large % of the team was Catholic. (they do have a "Win NewCath" message on their sign...as they should!). But outside of the 'burb of FT. T, I would NEVER expect to see an "inspiration

sign" for the 'Birds. Although I really did like the signs along the interstate on the way to the game, put up by HHS supporters all the way to PJS.

I would say that Ryle has this covered . . . .

Drive down 42 . . . from White Castle in Florence all the way to Union--Ryle everywhere. . . .
