Good hire for Lloyd, I think he will fit in perfectly there. -
Dave Brossart is the new coach at Covington Catholic!
ochenta siete replied to theguru's topic in KY Football (High School)
Actually there are no coaches staying from Rodenbergs staff. All the coaches that came with him from McNick to Cov Cath is going with him to Bacon. The 2 coaches that are staying at CCH are from Coach Ray's staff. -
Favorite NBA Player Now?
ochenta siete replied to THESportsANIMAL's topic in National Basketball Association (NBA)
I'm a big fan of Lebron James. I watched him in high school and saw him develop. Next favorites- Prince, Bogans, Rondo, Azubuike, Hayes, Padgett, Nazr Mohammed, Jamaal Magloire, almost forgot, Derek Anderson and Antoine Walker. I think that's it. -
Any win is a big win now. Duke really needed this one, but I would have liked to see BC pull this one out and see Duke lose 5 games in a row. But I have to give them credit on beating a good BC team.

You cant really just choose. You would have to know all of them, to see if he was a good leader and worker. I couldnt just choose by stats, you would have to see what kind of player he was in the locker room, as in a captain. -

What about St. Henry's top team. They had some good players on that 9th region champion team a few years ago. But, they lost to Lofton and his crew of Mason Co. by like 2. Also, St. Henry had some good players back in the 70's. -

Toughest places for an opponet to play
ochenta siete replied to oldrambler's topic in College Football
Another tough place to play is Gonzaga's home court. Whenever I see a Zag game on ESPN that place is always going nuts. It is very loud, plus that is the only thing that school can cheer for, so that gives them an extra boost. -

A win is a win and I'm sure that the Colonels will take it. Good game by Grimes again, and Todd Jacobs also played very well under pressure. It was a good game to watch too. -
Four Cats in double figures, led by Bradleys 21. Also, Bradley dished out a career-high nine assists to go with his 21 points. Bobby Perry scored a season-high 18 while Randolph Morris added 17 for Kentucky. Joe Crawford rounded out the double-digit scoring with 15 points. South Carolina's Tre' Kelley scored a career-high 36 for the Gamecocks.

Final. Huge start by the Cats but kinda fell apart at the end. Score made it closer than what it really was.

Yeah my nephew plays for the team he said JV had a very good year. They beat Highlands on a last second play just like the day before I heard. And they los to St. Xavier by a very small amount. They also beat teams like Beechwood, NCC, and Dixie. And some team from Indy I heard. I heard Frosh had a bad year, but I dont know the specifics. Most of the O was JR for JV, I think D was a little mixed of both. This JR class will carry the load this upcoming year. -

Good news for the Reds organization. Lets hope Aaron can have another great year this upcoming year and get into that Cy Young race. I think he is capable of it. -
LSU is in a slump they can not get out of. Tenn didnt play to their capabilities but still pulled out a good win. Any win in the SEC is huge at this point.

My top 3 (no order) Noah, Lofton, Crawford.
