Jumper_Dad
With realignment I think a lot of us may not know much about our new class mates, so if you know about these teams please share with the rest of us.
just 4 fun
Mayfield will still dominate d-1-1, Bethlehem and Holy Cross will battle it out for d-1-2, Beechwood will dominate d-1-3, Frankfort will dominate d-1-4, LCA and Raceland will battle it out in d-1-5, anyones guess in d-1-6, Harlan and Hazard should be cream of the crop in d-1-7 and Pikeville should dominate d-1-8....I would think that most of the 1st couple of playoff rounds will be blowouts and then some good matchups in the final 8 on.... bugatti
District 2 resides a long way from district 1  Same ole story, different class/year with Mayfield and Beechwood. Both may be adding some trophies in the coming years.
00Rocket28
Not saying Crittenden will beat Mayfield but they won't be dominated for the next 2 years. Crittenden only loses like 3 players from this years team, and off next year will only lose a couple.Almost all of there players that started this year were fresh and sophs
All Play No Work
Beechwood will be loaded next year with a very talented Senior class. They will be tough to beat.

Crittenden only loses like 3 players from this years team, and off next year will only lose a couple.Almost all of there players that started this year were fresh and sophs Mayfield was also very young, especially in the RB and Line positions..If they can find a decent replacement for Shelton at the QB spot, they should be very strong the next 2 years...That's a tall order though, because of what Shelton meant to the team both running and passing and especially the leadership attributes.... Toothpick
00Rockets Beat me to the bunch on Crittenden Co, they will be very good, thankfully Mayfield should also be better than this year due to their youth. Just4Fun hit it on the head, if Mayfield can get decent quarterbacking they will be a pretty darn good team. Mayfield only graduated 9 but Shelton will be hard to replace. They will also miss Heath. If your a Mayfield fan you have to be excited about the frosh and 8th grade classes, they look to be on par to be the best football classes in a long time. Beside the obvious, Mayfield and Beechwood, what about Bethlehem, Louisville Holy Cross, Lexington Christian and Pikeville. All could rain on what at the moment look to be the little 2's parade to the Louisville trophy case. Also anyone notice how the west looks to be top heavy with all the predicted top teams except Lex Christian and Pikeville. Travel, can you imagine if your Beechwood or Mayfield having to travel to each others place. In theory Mayfield could have to go to Louisville and play HC then go to Beechwood then if they are still alive traveling to the Pizza Box all in back to back to back weeks. GoBigRed
What about Frankfort? They gave Danville a good run this year. What are they returning next year?
Toothpick
What about Frankfort? They gave Danville a good run this year. What are they returning next year? Good question, were they a 1 year wonder or have they got the foundation to be a player every year, I have no idea
Big Blue 2010
In district 1-3, how does everyone think the newcomer Bishop Brossart will fair? They played a limited JV schedule last year but decided to make the jump.
just 4 fun
Good question, were they a 1 year wonder or have they got the foundation to be a player every year, I have no idea Frankfort has been solid for 3-4 years now but have had the unfortunate tasks of getting thru the Bardstowns, Holy Crosses and Danvilles to advance....I don't know what they have returning, but, I would bet they'll be right in the mix with all the other 1a powers pretty much yr in and yr out
True blue (and gold)
The key player that Frankfort has returning for next year is EJ Fields, the QB. He can seriously run like the wind!

CoachBuckett
What about Frankfort? They gave Danville a good run this year. What are they returning next year? Frankfort returns 9 starters on both sdes of the ball. They will be loaded. The return the entire o-line, all seniors and have plenty of experience. The return the QB and #2 tailback. This team has plenty of speed and experience.
