I just think that Beechwood is going to dominate, there is nothing new in this system, its just going to be the normal Beechwood, New Cath game , and because New Cath is not 1A anymore, Beechwood will just take over. Danville is also gone.

You all say that every year:p

Frankfort 15-0...

15-0? Beechwood will still be there. I find it hard to believe that a team in 1A will beat this talented tiger team.

Get ready for some disapointment, Mayfield will end the Tigers season when the Tigers make the 10zillion mile trip to Mayfield. This is provided that our new QB can do a decent job otherwise Frankfort or Beech should win it.

The west bracket for 1A appears to be very top heavy with 1. Mayfield, 2. Beechwood, 3. Frankfort as forsure contenders and a couple of possibles like Beth and Crittenden. What about the east bracket, who do you all see as favorites? Lex Christian, Raceland, Pikeville??? whodo you think???

Why will Beechwood have to travel next year? I disagree with you that they will end the Tigers season. Beechwood will be loaded next year. If Mayfield is that good next year I can't wait to see it.

1A will be the same as every year except now it will be just Beechwood and Mayfield every time, instead of also having NCC and Danville in the mix too.

I know in district 3 I look for the final standing to look like this next year

1. Beechwood

2. Ludlow

3. Bellevue

4. Brossart

If Bankemper's leg fully heals by next season I don't see why Beechwood doesn't go undefeated or perhaps a one loss season (CovCath) and win state.

Mayfield will take there lumps early next year, much like NCC did this year..Tilghman and Hopkinsville were very young this year and should both be much improved...Marshall Co. and Graves Co both have alot coming back and when you're a big school to start with, should both be hard to handle..I don't know what the rest of the Mayfield schedule will look like, but, theres a good possibility they lose all 4 of those, but, when they get into 1a play, I look for them to tweak there shortcomings, put it together and be a tough out for anyone...

Ha, ha!

Thats fine. . . .

I am sure that Beechwood would LOVE to be your underdog!

Although I would not be surprised to see 2 thru 4 in any order.

TP, in all honesty if Beechwood would have moved to the 2A district of NCC, Newport, LLoyd, and Holy Cross they would be favored to win that district next year. Not saying that can't be beat in Class A next year, but right now they look awful strong.

And you are aware that Dayton only lost 6 seniors... ?

In all honesty, if Beech will be as strong as you guys make it sound then it is likely you will have a champ. Mayfield actually has a pretty good senior class but its their 9th and 10th grades that has us in a buzz. For me Beechwood just doesnt really strike much fear, they have never beat us in a head to head matchups and they will certainly be more beatable than having the Ads to contend with every year. You guys were lucky not having to face them. I assumed Beech would have to travel west but after you called me out on it I think I am no longer certain. Under the old system they would have to travel west but under the new 1 I really dont know. Anyway was sure fun watching some of you get worked up.

Honestly no I was not. But I was pretty sure they lost their QB, and from the couple of times that I saw them, their QB was was their everything and I think that will be a huge lost for them. Im sure my predicition of what will happen next year will be changed once we get to next year, and I learn more about the teams....

Yeah they we were lucky not having to play them, instead they got to play NCC twice a year who has back to back state championships...:sssh:
