  1. There's a few places that you can commit a robbery in today. Not a soul in Augusta or Pendleton County.
  2. Maybe I'll get out the dogsled and stop over to watch a game or two. With this much snow and the parking at the Fieldhouse, I'm sure a dogsled team would be more efficient.
  3. Coach Fookes was successful in what she did and how she did it. Wish her nothing but the best in retirement!
  4. I think it is associated with them not participating in the post season.
  5. I've sat on both sides of the Fieldhouse and I can honestly say that I'd rather be on the other side. You see a lot more of the game imo.
  6. If this was the year to bet big on an upset, I should've done it and bet the farm.
  7. The past two years, you'd have thought Augusta destroyed the hearts of everyone in Mason County.... Even on this forum, I've seen where people referred Augusta as a "demon". It's honestly quite comical that you beat someone twice and it becomes called a "rivalry" according to some Mason County posters. 36th District Title? That is pretty nice, considering it's Mason's to lose each year.
  8. I believe Brooksville High became Bracken County High during the 1943-44 school year.
  9. I agree. Coach Kidwell will land on his feet somewhere.
  10. "Ever growing rivalry"? They win two times and you call this an ever growing rivalry? I'll at least say their 6th man isn't the fair weather type. Good time to rob any home or business. Winter crime rates are usually high in Augusta.
  11. The question is, who is who and who controls the Gaza Strip?
  12. I'm impressed that there was a game played last night!
  13. I guess you weren't around for the ones before the 2000s.
  14. I thought that was a typo on the scoreboard when I saw it. Not the first time I've heard of a team quitting in the middle of a game....
  15. In my experience coming from a small high school and working at a small school system, we don't schedule the full 30 game limit. Usually 25-27 games is what we try to schedule and sometimes games are canceled and not made up because of snow. I don't see a problem scheduling 30 games since I know of softball and baseball teams that schedule the full amount of games.
  16. 30 is the max regular season games someone can schedule. Coaches don't have to schedule the max.
  17. Augusta Saint Pat Burgin
  18. Think Cordia's would have to be the smallest based on the picture I saw in another thread.
  19. Would love to go to a Holmes/CCH game.
  20. I was going to ask if Mason County existed in your day...
