ESPNdeux
Final. In what appears to be the only game in the state last night, the Lightning came out on top. Career high points and rebounds for sophomore Will Martin (17/14) and 8th grader Ben Zalla also hit double digits with 12. Kid has a bright future. Lightning will go for win #10 against SG. Double digits would be a great accomplishment for a team that has no seniors and one junior.

paNDA
Congrats on getting in a game! Both teams are the envy of the Commonwealth. I don't think envy is the correct word. It was dangerous last night.
Qryche11
While I will say the Zalla kid has a bright future.....what kind of defense does Top 10 Ranked Heritage play. Highlands 8th grade team held him to less I believe.
KYgentleman25
Will Zalla be attending Villa for high school? Sounds like he's a solid talent that many high schools would be glad to have. Not at all saying Villa would be a bad place to stay though.
Ustacould
Does this result knock Heritage out of the NKY top ten? Nice....McP. The small Schools play the small schools, both are in the same DIII division. Glad to see you're knocking the little guy:irked:
