Final. In what appears to be the only game in the state last night, the Lightning came out on top. Career high points and rebounds for sophomore Will Martin (17/14) and 8th grader Ben Zalla also hit double digits with 12. Kid has a bright future.

 

Lightning will go for win #10 against SG. Double digits would be a great accomplishment for a team that has no seniors and one junior.

I'm impressed that there was a game played last night!

I don't think envy is the correct word. It was dangerous last night.

While I will say the Zalla kid has a bright future.....what kind of defense does Top 10 Ranked Heritage play. Highlands 8th grade team held him to less I believe.

Will Zalla be attending Villa for high school? Sounds like he's a solid talent that many high schools would be glad to have. Not at all saying Villa would be a bad place to stay though.
