Were they still using peach baskets? Always held respect to for the players and Coach Morrison. They fielded a team every time they could and put in effort on the floor.

That was a long retirement.

Lynn Camp High School’s Athletic Director Danny Green confirmed today that former Barbourville High School basketball coach, Dinky Phipps, has applied for the job as head coach of Lynn Camp’s team. Green said that at this time there has been no decision made on who will fill the position. No decision, he said, will be made until the school’s principal, Anthony Pennington, returns Monday. An official announcement of who will be Lynn Camp’s next head basketball coach will be made Monday in the Lynn Camp auditorium. The Mountain Advocate will be there." Any reason why?

As of this time, Eric Swords is no longer the head coach of the Lynn Camp High School boys basketball program. What's going on here? Something weird is going on here.

I was thinking of Krakatoa as having something to do with this, but that was much later.

I think there was a study done on this several years ago. I may be wrong but I think I remember seeing that combining two school systems does not save large amounts of money.

Unless both schools are having problems financially, I don't see it. I don't know what their financial statuses are however. Should be based on that.

Interesting to see that Fulton City and Fulton County are now both open. Why did he go to Hickman County? Aren't they in the same district?
