No it isn't excessive. I think it was just a hard thing to not stop. Do you tell your players to not shoot? I feel bad for both parties in this situation because if you are the winner, you look like a punk, and if you are the loser, you just look like you are completely horrible. Probably would've been a good idea to not schedule if it can be help.

I'm very sorry that you feel this way. To me, it's not embarrassing or uncalled for. The people of Robertson County have always been proud of their school system right or wrong. Unlike other systems they do not have the money to readily purchase new jerseys. Additionally, I find it appropriate to honor the past because it is what got you where you are now. Maybe they've decided to honor Deming, which is their predecessor. I would love to see other schools do it as well. Just to give you an example, I see the Maysville trophies at the Fieldhouse and one picture. Where's the banners they had? Have they honored the graduates/players from May's Lick, Washington, Orangeburg, and Minerva?

Very true!!! But Mrs. So-So is supposed to raise those kids in class too because the parents they have won't do it (they don't deserve to be called a parent). So she is responsible for them too.

Very much agree with the sentiment. The USA is all about ranking and testing, it's ridiculous. I've never seen so much testing before. It's bad to think most of a teacher's time is spent teaching to a test that most kids struggle with anyway because they can't receive help when the test comes around. Additionally, we judge schools and teachers based on tests. So-So district is bad because they score low, Mrs. So-So's 5th grade class scored low, so Mrs. So-So is a bad teacher.
