They do it every game, every year, they onside kicked "accidentally" on Lafayette when they were up 40. I wish they would do it in a tie game, a close game, or when they are down. I would respect them then for doing it. Right now they do it because they are up and know they aren't going to lose. They were up 47-0 last year against East Jessamine and faked a extra point, how about doing that it a tighter situation? That's doing it the right way.

East controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. West is a good team but they aren't physical enough to stop the run.

Sounds like Boyle County and Lexington Catholic will not be moving up if they only moved teams up based on geography.

What should be the definition of geographical hardship? Mine is having no schools within 60 miles, which is around a 1 hour bus ride. I checked on google maps and came up with these numbers. For the two traditional powers in 4A trying to move up to 5A. Lexington Catholic- Schools within 60 miles Martha Layne Collins 45 miles Shelby Co. 45 miles Mercer Co. 29 miles Marion Co. 48.5 miles Harrison Co. 34 miles Boyle Co. 34 miles Pendleton Co. 56 miles Rockcastle Co. 47 Miles Spencer Co. 60 miles Boyle County-Schools within 60 miles. Lexington Catholic 34 miles Taylor Co. 46 miles Russell Co. 45 miles Rockcastle Co. 31 miles Marion Co. 23 miles Mercer Co. 10 miles Martha Layne Collins 50 miles Shelby Co. 50 miles Does either of these teams have an argument of geographical hardship? Lexington Catholic could be put in a district that would be closer but I think the KHSAA needs to have a definition of geographical hardship. They need to determine if teams are trying to move up for that reason or for other reasons. What is your definition?

This is the true reason for geographical requests. All of the opponents for Boyle will be less than an hour. All of the opponents for Lex. Cath. will be less than 1 and a 1/2 away. Considering they went to Lone Oak last year I really don't think they are concerned about 1.5 hour bus ride every other year.

I'll buy them to win their district. I think they can beat Johnson Central at home.

Holmes has really good speed. They can't beat Boyle County. They might be able to beat Lex. Cath. if they are on.

Questionable ending to a good game. Not sure how Southwestern can be rewarded for one of there players pushing a East player into Southwestern player. End the end they made a winning play to win the game. Just wish they wouldn't have been rewarded for a such a play on a 4th down and 13. More people in Ohio, there are more larger cities that produce more players and more competition. Also, UK being really good at basketball maybe a factor as well. We tend to focus on that sport more than football.

If Garrard can complete passes and get big plays they can win this game. They have to slow down West on offense.

I will say Lincoln will win by at least 3 TD's. They put up a fight against a pretty good Rowan team but Madison Southern wasn't able to do anything against West Jessamine.

LCA is down significantly from last season. Still they will okay in class A. I will guess and say they may take a few lumps with their pre-district schedule.

I think they have most of their team back. What kind of offense are they going to run this year. At the beginning of the year they were shotgun and I running the option. At the end of the year they started running the wishbone.
