Calm down, Red Heat. FB stud is talking about the games between Campbell-Ryle and Campbell-Dixie. He is not talking about Ryle dominating Dixie.

Ryle had over 350 yards of total offense to less than 200 for Dixie, had one TD called back on the opening drive after picking Bricking, gave away 7 points in the kicking game, and ended the game at the Dixie 1 yard line. It was indeed a strange game that Dixie only lost by two. Ryle did make somesome correctable mistakes that kept the score closer than it should have been. Winning never concerns me and I doubt it concerns Ryle.

What's the deal with Dixie's players running through the little piece of paper right in the middle of the singing of the national anthem? I got to stand on the sideline tonight and was very surprised and sad to see that happen. Ryle's players waited respectfully behind their piece of paper and Dixie's kids act like the anthem is not being sung. Shame on them.

Won't be surprised by either team winning. Will be surprised if the margin is more than 7 points.

I was amazed at field conditions. It would have been ugly last night. Very little slipping and the footing looked pretty good. They must have done a lot of work on it. Good job, Raider parents.

Just eliminate the mistakes and everything will be fine. Raiders were at the Dixie 1 yard line when time expired with a nice game-clinching drive. Way to bring it, Raiders. Now, go back to work. This was a nice warmup for next week.

Both teams are physical. Passing games may well suffer with a wet ball on a cold night and noone gets a normal push on a slick field. Looking forward to a great game.

I believe that Ryle will take one week at a time and will not overlook anyone again. Yes, the field will be a mess, not quite as bad as Dixie past, but getting there. Every home game except one has been a rainy game so Ryle is used to playing in the Union mud. Will be a great night for high school football, playing for homefield advantage.

I like Doggy Dawg's list except Vince Murray at Ryle would replace Young from Holmes. No comparison between the two players.

Looks pretty clear to me. Barring a major upset by Conner over Boone, it's Ryle and Dixie two straight weeks and Campbell at Boone in the first round of the playoffs. Should be interesting. I like the Raiders' chances.

Raiders started subbing in some defensive players in the second quarter. They looked sharp on both sides of the ball. It was Ryle's #2s vs Scott's #1s in a boring 2nd half. Now, let the fun begin. The first nine games mean nothing.

I'm surprised by the number of folks thinking that this will be a large-margin victory. It will be close to the wire IMHO. Dixie knows they probably cannot host a first round playoff game if they lose and they have a good defensive unit. Campbell knows they will get at least one home game if they win out. I think the winner has 21 or less and the margin is 4 or less. Too much riding on this one for it to be a blowout. The announcer may not be as active with TD calls as Camel faithful would like.

Campbell wins a head-to-head tiebreaker with Boone and we don't know until after tonight's game if they still have a chance to win the district. Campbell comes in second and Boone third in a 3-way tie with Ryle and Boone. So, Boone is in the worst shape in a multi-way tiebreaker the way I understand the tiebreak system. Bottom line, Campbell cannot win the district if Ryle wins out and the Camels win out.
