Congrats to SK. A strong finish next week against will lock up another winning season.

Glad to see SK winning big even though they have been eliminated, last game against Scott, usually a close game but I think SK will blast the Eagles since Scott dropped them for next season.

Congrats to SK. I expect a similar score next week vs. Scott.

SK fans: Are you disappointed with the season or are the Pioneers where you expected them to be?

Note: I am not asking if you are disappointed in the effort of the players or the players themselves - just the results.

They didn't reach my expectations but I'm sure they are much more disappointed. I liked what I read in the paper today, they know they aren't going to make the playoffs but they are still trying to achieve their goals, that's positive, a win next week gives SK their first back to back winning seasons in school history, that's a start. The program seems to be heading in the right direction, they've had some good freshman classes recently, just hard to believe they will average 34 points a game and still be shut out of the playoffs.

We are disappointed with the fact that they aren't going to make the playoffs. Also, the boys really have wen't out on occasion and showed no heart, which is also a disappointment, but it could have to do with the play-calling. At times the calls are great, but then the staff has made calls that literally take all the momentum away from the team. The record is good, but the season really is a disappointment. The expectations for this year was to win all but maybe 1 or 2 games.

I can't believe that Scott wont play SK next year, that is a joke. The score next week could be in the sixties for SK, they will show absolutely no mercy. Also look for Haught to have a HUGE game.

With the expectations that were on this team anything short of a district championship would have been a disappointment. That being said, it is ridiculous that this team didn't even make the playoffs. They had sooooooo much talent, but like nkysportslegend said they lacked heart and there were some questionable play calling at points in the season. I feel for all those seniors, but they will take out everything on Scott.

Are you positive that Scott doesn't want to play SK? I mean it was only about 3 or 4 years ago that they beat them.

I understand you thinking it is rediculous on KHSAA's part for not scheduling it, but do you have confirmation that Scott asked to not play them?

It's also hard to keep momentum when you can't tackle.

I have heard that Scott did "drop" SK from the schedule, if it benefits the Scott program I'm all for it, SK picked up Russell so the schedule will be stronger so that's a good thing. No matter how bad these two teams have been it's usually a close game.

Any major changes for SK next season?

Yes, new QB and new backfield, as well as a big blow to the O line.
