Highlands 33 Conner 0 (Frosh Championship)

Birds frosh pulled off another undefeated season and won the championship. Congrats Cougars for a great season. You played hard and have a good team.

Rosenhagen returned the opening kick off for a TD and it was all Birds from there. Score was 33-0 at half. Everyone on the team contributed. Great job. Way to keep the winning streak going. Its now 37 in a row. Its now up to the 8th graders to keep it going next year.

For those of you, like me, who believe in these type of things, Quinn Stapleton was smiling down from Heaven, cheering his teammates on to victory. All season long, this team's motto was Win for Quinn and they did it. Quinn's football number by the way was 33. Great job Birds.

That is fantastic! And yes, I do believe in signs from above -- this might just have been a sign written in scoreboard lights!

Good job Baby Birds!!! :ylsuper:

The Bluebirds played St.X on the varsity level, did they play the Tiger's freshmen and JVs? Did the frosh play the Elder Panthers?

The Freshman don't play those teams.

I want to congratulate the birds in their win tonight. Cougars keep your heads up over a great year this year also!

They can't play those teams they are in a 9 team league...These teams play for the Northern Kentucky Championship each year...HHS is 37-0 the past four years...:ylsuper: :ylsuper:

I'm with you, and that is a great story.

Who is in the league? Wouldn't the frosh get more out of taking on the likes of X and Elder than romping the NKY frosh league each season?

HHS has won 37 in a row, but they are not 37-0 the past 4 years. They lost 2 or 3 games in 03'.

I too believe. Great way to honor the young man's memory. :thumb:

All of the AAA and AAAA teams... I don't know I think they are doing ok on the varsity level.:thumb:

Not sure they can get more out of winning 37 in a row and moving on to the success at the varsity level.

I guess its a matter of perspective. You guys have never beaten Elder, yet you choose not to play them as freshmen. X has handled you the past couple of years, likewise you don't play them at the frosh level. Maybe if those kids got a taste at the frosh level, they would would have a little better chance at the next level. JMO.
