Back on topic...was our frosh a running team or more of a passing team?

Congrats Frosh, 37 wins in a row is impressive I don't care who you play. BTW- playing Ohio frosh schools would be interesting to say the least but not necessary. 4a schools like Trinity and St. X need to worry about their own similar sized schools and worry less about Highlands who may have the best program in the state if you look top to bottom and the number of boys in grades 9- 12. period.

It was a very messy night... was the play affected by the weather much?

I believe he has had a fracture in his leg all year and has still played. Sounds like a tough kid to me...:thumb:

Definitely! I was just pickin' at his old man a little. ;)

Not trying to sound stupid but why would you let your kid play with a fractured leg? I think it is honorable that the kid played hurt but is his future worth running him out there every game at the Frosh level with a fracture?

I think it is just a hairline fracture??? He'll need to stop playing a sport for a while for it to heal.If you notice when he runs it looks like he is limping at full speed. The kid is still lightning fast with a broken leg.. That's kind of scarey isn't it????

So, why was the score so lopsided this time? Was weather a factor... I ask again.

For most of the season it seems like the frosh just kind of went through the motions. The last couple of games they really came out pumped to play..The weather had nothing to do with it...

Congrats to a great group of young men!! I went to about half of their games this year and was impressed more each week.

I hope to see all of you in uniform for tomorrows varsity game against Covcath.

Again way to go Class of 2010 :dancingpa WIN For QUINN

Technical correction to LN's post. I think its only 36 in a row. But whose quibbling. Great job Birds. We are very proud of each and every one of you. Not only are you very good football players, you are each nice young men.

What a great group of kids. Great season! Several of these kids have been involved in the triple crown of sports. They won the Greater Cinn. Division 1 Knothole Championship, they won the Middle School State Basketball Championship, and now they won the freshmen football championship!
