Guru will have a portable photo studio set up on the ship. The lack of ship mobility seems to be a problem but the Union Fire Department has agreed to flood the field so that Guru can get photos from everywhere in the stadium without leaving the ship.

Home field and the travel involved for CC is a big edge for JC that could keep the game close. If it's a blowout, then CC wins. I could see either team winning if it stays close throughout. NKY is pulling for the Blue Colonels.

Any Raider stuff is good enough. I'm sure the Raiders appreciate your support just as we have supported the NKY 4A rep in the past once we were eliminated.

Too early to talk about buzzsaws and PJCS.

I would be fairly confident in saying that there is NO way that the Raiders will look past Hendo. No way possible. If Hendo wins, it would be because they were the better team next Friday. The Raiders will be ready and will play very well again.

Congrats to the Raiders. It looks like you keep getting better each week. Hopefully, more fans will turn out next Friday nite.

My observations. 1) The Camels are a very good football team. 2) Camels fans are very good and the Raider fans should take some lessons. 3) Ryle is a tenacious team. 4) Both teams play well as a team. 5) Raider #13 blocks very well for Vince Murray. 6) Murray and Gray are great leaders for that team in orange and black. 7) Josh Morgan played a great game. 8) More Raider fans need to get out and support our boys next week. Hey, this is not an opera. It's OK to get loud. Maybe we can hire a fan participation trainer from Campbell. Best wishes to all Camel seniors. All of us who played football can remember the disappoint of that final h.s. game and how you feel. Great season at 8-4.

First of all, best wishes to all Dixie seniors and congratulations for all of the hard work that you put in. You can be very proud of what you accomplished in spite of an unexpected losing season this year. Both games were very enjoyable and played with great intensity. Football players from all teams rock! One last post about this game just to respond to the previous comments of people that I fired up (I do understand and appreciate what you are saying and apologize if I offended you) and then on to Campbell, another very good football team just like Dixie. I'll just pick a sample of four quotes by Dixie fans and the facts of what transpired. Hopefully, it will help you understand. If not, at least I tried to explain myself. itrz: Dixie isn't a one or two man show like ryle. They play as one. Oh really??? The obvious reference was that Ryle is a Vince Murray or Scott Gray show and they do not play as one like Dixie does. When's the last time you saw one running back get about 500 yards in 2 games (not to mention the 100+ yards by other backs) against a solid defensive team like Dixie without great lead blocking and great offensive line play. Ryle and Dixie are both 60-70 man shows. Football is the ultimate team sport and the better TEAM won both games. Ryle is a very close team and they play as one. S32: "Don't put too much stock in the outcome of last weeks game. This is the real game and we all knew it would be a rematch anyway. Coaching will win this one. Sorrell's D will shut down the Raiders as usual, and the O will get the job done. " Oh really?? This said after Ryle just ran all over the Dixie defense in Game 1 for over 350 yards (a version of shutting someone down as usual????). I guess the first time was because it was not a meaningful game to fight for homefield advantage in the playoffs. Ryle did it again in the "real" game with over 400 yards of total offense. Were it not for several unusual drops of passes by wide open players in the game, Ryle would have been over 500 yards of T.O. versus a solid defensive team. I do give S32 credit for being right about one thing: coaching did win the game! DC: "Beating up" the opponents qb is not something to gloat about. DC obviously infers that the injury to Bricking was a result of "beating up", or dirty play. Wrong. Joey got hurt because a very good, strong and quick football player drove him to the ground on his throwing shoulder in a hard and clean tackle, just the way players are taught to wrap up and drive their opponent to the ground. If an injury occurs due to a hard tackle, that's an unfortunate part of the game that every team knows so well. Kyle Benke (Ryle's very good junior QB who is getting better and better each week and will help this team meet its goals) got his jaw broken because a very good, strong and quick CovCath player wrapped him up and drove him to the ground in a hard and clean tackle. Ryle's DB's did "beat up" the Dixie receivers a few times in good, clean, hard-hitting shots that is good football. Hey, speaking of beating up, Dixie got flagged for 3 illegal chop blocks in the 2 games and could have got called for many more. That is a dangerous play that can easily hurt an opponent's knee. Ryle did get flagged for several late hits in the game and that is not good football. NO room for late hits or dirty hits in football. BG: Bricking plays, Dixr wins last two weeks. Oh, really?? Look at Bricking's stats for the year. Mosier's completion percentage was about the same or better. Joey's very first pass in game 1 was picked off and he threw 2 other bad balls and a few nice balls. Matt Mosier was brilliant and threw some great balls and was a very elusive and tough runner. Matt was more difficult to defend on the run than Bricking and I commend him for being a champion and playing an awesome game. Simply stated, Mosier was outstanding. To say that Dixie wins both games with Bricking is laughable. The best TEAM won both games. Both teams played their hearts out in both games. What can you say about a food-poisoned Scott Gray who could barely walk and played like a champion for the reps he could put in. Congrats to Ryle and best wishes to all Dixie seniors as you pursue life goals! On to another very good opponent. We welcome the Camels to our house!

Two great teams and programs. The winner will play for a 3A championship IMO. Can see it going either way. I lean toward the Birds in a close game just because it's hard to beat a good team twice. Good luck to both teams in what will be another great h.s. football game.

Wrong. Just go back and read some of the bigmouth Dixie posts about the past two games and all of the big talk about Dixie from last summer on. Ryle shut them up and beat them up. Good job, Raiders.

Scott Gray was very sick and should not have been on the field IMO but he is tough. He did not even do regular warmups. One other starter, Acquaviva, could not even make it to school today and missed the game. Good job, Raiders. You deserved the win and outplayed and outhit Dixie badly AGAIN. Get to work on pass defense. Campbell will be airing it out. Enjoy the double win vs. Dixie, even though the first win didn't mean anything. :sssh:. Hats off to Mosier. He was a more elusive runner than Bricking and threw some nice balls.

OR22, some things you say are very true but others are totally off base. I did not see last year's game but I know that Ryle did not dominate offensively. I did see the 2004 game and Ryle did not dominate offensively in the game at Ryle. The 2003 game at Dixie seemed pretty even offensively. So, please do not exaggerate to make a point. Ryle did dominate offensively last week and made enough mistakes (lost 7 points on kicking game, TD called back, etc.) to keep it close and did not score at the 1-yard line at game's end. Could have easily been a 37-17 game.
