Great night for NKY football (3 for 3)

When was the last time that we had a team from 1A, 3A and 4A that was this close to making it to state? It would be real nice if they all 3 won

Yes it would be great if all 3 teams make it to the finals. Dont know the last time, if at all, we had 3 teams in the finals.

Not that long ago . . . . 2004

 

1A: Beechwood (won state championship)

3A: Highlands (won state championship)

4A: Boone (lost to Scott County in the semi's)

That will be awsome if CCH, NCC, and Ryle all make it to the state championship.

In 94 NKY had three in the championship game. Beechwood and CovCath won titles, Boone lost to Trinity.

We kind of get used to having a 1A and 3A team in it, and now have a shot for a 4A team also. Good luck to all teams from NKY.

I don't know about that. If it ends up in a CovCath vs. BG final, it will be a tough game for sure. It certainly isn't a gimme just yet.
