It was pretty much all Ryle. Dixie had a few alright drives but without there starting QB they never really put anything good together. Ryle played about as good as last week, a little lackluster for me, but nonetheless they win, and move on to play Campbell Co . @ Ryle next week. They waxed C.C earlier this year but were like 6 weeks removed from that game and it will be a good one.

Congratulations Raiders! Get some rest and get back to work asap. CC will be hungry for an upset and will be looking for revenge from the midseason loss to Ryle. Stay focused. The good news is CC has to travel and play us in our house.

No suprise here.

As PB3 said, it was pretty much all Ryle. IMO, the turning point in the game was the long TD by Murray at the end of the half. Instead of going in 14-12 at half, it was 21-12. That seemed to suck all the wind out of Dixie. Mosier played pretty well at QB without playing at all this season. He led the two scoring drives using his arms and legs. Unfortunately, by midway through the 3rd, he looked spent. Playing both ways took a lot out of him. Granted he played both ways all year, but playing QB takes more out of you than WR. It would've been interesting to see him at QB all year as it would've really opened up the offense.

Good luck to the Raiders! By the way, give the ball to Murray more. He's a workhorse, and it seemed like you got away from that at times tonight.

Congrats, Raiders!

I listened to some of the game online. The announcers said Murray had 31 carries for 271 yards and 2 TDs. I'm not sure he could have done much more, although there might have been a few instances in the second half when Ryle had some drives that stalled. In any event, great game for Murray and his blockers...

He had well over 100 on the two runs. In the second half, I would've done nothing but run Murray to run that clock down.

I heard that 4 players ate some bad food last night coming home from the soccer game. Grey's name was brought up as being one of them, and I did notice that he didn't seem to be on the field a whole lot. Is there any truth to this?

Scott Gray was very sick and should not have been on the field IMO but he is tough. He did not even do regular warmups. One other starter, Acquaviva, could not even make it to school today and missed the game. Good job, Raiders. You deserved the win and outplayed and outhit Dixie badly AGAIN. Get to work on pass defense. Campbell will be airing it out. Enjoy the double win vs. Dixie, even though the first win didn't mean anything. :sssh:. Hats off to Mosier. He was a more elusive runner than Bricking and threw some nice balls.

If it was food poisoning, the I can relate to that. It's the worst sickness I've ever had, so I tip my hat to Gray for playing through it, if that is indeed what he had.

Almost forgot, congrats to the Dixie seniors on a great career. And congrats to the team on a solid season. :thumb:

Vince Murray is just a flat out beast. He will be ready to tear up C.C again like he did earlier this year. I wonder if he's drawing any small div 1 schools interest. IMO he could play ball somewhere.

Hats off to Scott Gray too. Played pretty tough for being sick.

Nice win for Ryle should be a great game next week against CC.

I predicted at 24-14 win for Ryle. Ryle was just too much for Dixie, especially with Bricking being out. Murray is one tough kid. He should be getting the ball atleast 20 times a game. I don't see Campbell being able to stop the Raiders next week, especially with them being at home.

Congrats to the Raiders and good luck to ALL of the Dixie seniors. You all had a fine season and have nothing to be ashamed of.

Congratulations to Ryle on a back to back win over Dixie!!!
