It did look like they wanted it more, because at times Dixie showed they could move the ball.

 

I noticed some of the Dixie fans complaining about the coaches, is this a common thing for Dixie? I always thought that Dixie had pretty good coaching.

Let's not stir something up that's not there. There is always going to be complainers in every crowd. The coaching staffs know their teams and personnel and they make calls accordingly. Do I always agree with the play calling? No, but that is why I'm sitting in the stands and they're coaching on the sidelines.

"Knock them silly", give me a break. Ryle scored 3 points in the final two periods. Dixie had 3 starters out but that's not the reason they lost. Ryle was the better team Friday night and deserved to move on. They are a very good team. Your "silly" statement is not correct.

Dixie players...this season fell short of your expectations. Seniors, best wishes post graduation. For the rest, work hard and come back next year, to your new district, ready to make a statement.

If its any consolation to Dixie fans, IMO they're a top 3 team in NKY starting out next season.

Come on! "Beating up" the opponents qb is not something to gloat about. Ryle has a great team and deserved to win! They are all around solid and congrats to them. Continued success on your road to the championship! Considering how I think Raider fans felt after your qb was out earlier in the season and after that tough loss last year for the district championship, I think a little less smack and a little more compassion would be in order. There are alot of classy Ryle posters here. Follow their lead please. Dixie players can be proud they gave it their all but came up short against alot of adversity. Ryle won a heartfelt game without all of their weapons also. Best of luck to both Ryle and Campbell County. Bricking plays, Dixr wins last two weeks. However, thats football and Ryle took advantage and played hard. I do believe CCHS defeats Ryle next week though. Good Luck to both Teams.

As always the shame of the matter is that some Raider fans don't have an iota of the class that their players do. Phrases like 'Shut up", "beat up" and "bigmouth" reflect more on the author than they do the subject. Congrats Ryle players and Classy fans, get after it Friday night. Dixie Pride will ride again. Work harder, set the goals high for next season, support your NK brethren in the next level of play-offs.
