Russell seems to be as good as last year. But, Western is #2 and nobody talks about them much. I think Western and Mercer are on a collision course. I think they would meet in the 3rd week of the playoffs if they both make it to that point. That would be a good one.

Oh no I'm not looking to argue. I agree with what you are saying. And you are right about Russell and Highlands. I'm just saying they could threaten that record if they wanted just like alot of teams this year. But, that's not the kind of record you go after.

I love the stable at Mercer where they have they have 7 or 8 very good backs. Danville has a corral of backs. I know there are alot of good rushing attacks in the state. Throw in your opinion of the best rushing attacks you have seen this season so far.

Ok then. You are entitled to your opinion. Can't argue that. But, for the record they could already be halfway there if they wanted to be. Even with a running clock in almost every game so far they still could have put up 80 on 4 of the 5 previous opponents. 5 games left in the regular season and I see one tough game with Newport. They will name the score on the rest of the district. When you have two backs who will rush for 1,500 plus barring injury you will put up points quickly.

SW is catching Boyle at a really bad time. Tough schedule,people writing them off, plus first home game with an overflow crowd that brings out the emotions of the Rebels. Southwestern has a hard time defending the pass. I think it will be a big ol' can. Boyle 45 SW 14

The talent pool is deep in the middle school. They have nothing to worry about there. Unreal numbers. Mercer will reload next year. But, their are a few teams that are putting up some big numbers every week. Mercer could have scored in the 80's a couple of times this year. But, Coach Jaggers is a class act. He knows most of the teams have been outmatched other then Boyle Co.

They could. But, they wont. Mercer doesn't run the score up on teams. If they get up big the starters come out.

Yes, this is a big measuring stick for the Titans. It's a long road trip for sure. I'm going to make the trip and it's my first time to Newport's field. Do they have a turf playing surface?

Very good point on these two teams meeting in round two possibly. This one could very well be a defensive battle.

It's a long trip on the road. Newport will be ready for district play. Mercer knows this one wont be a gimme. Mercer will have a great following i expect.I don't see Newport being able to match the speed of the Titans. I think Mercer will be very physical up front. The Titans seem to take it to another level when they are challenged. The Titans will bring it next friday. I predict Mercer 42 Newport 14......

I'm glad to hear he is ok. Once again I think Casey Co. played their tails off. There wasn't any quit in them.

Nope, not a single pass. Lincoln Co knows all about Marty Jaggers. Run it til they stop it. Kinda like Coach Larry French. I'm happy that Coach French is back in the area and no better place to be then at Lincoln. Is French making believers out of people who weren't for sure at first?

The kid tried to make a tackle at the goal line on Donald Walker. It looked to me like he got ran over. He laid motionless on the field for atleast 20 minutes. He was tooken off on a stretcher. That's all I know.

My thoughts since the first time I saw him. You can really tell Hayden will be a special player. I really like the way he runs. HARD!

Their uni's were pretty ugly. But, I give those kids alot of credit for playing so hard throughout. I sure hope that kid from Casey Co. is ok.
