That wagon is pretty empty. Atleast on BGP anyways. Who in their right mind would doubt Belfry? I believe with Mercer being the neighbor of Boyle and Danville (title town) they know what success looks like and we've never even had a whiff of our own. But, they are working very hard to achieve some goals we've only dreamed of in the past. Hats off to the success that Belfry has had though.

They are still working on the site as you can tell. So I would say they will probably have that roster up. I will see if I can find it and post it on here.

That's kind of what I've said recently. I remember post on the South Laurel game with Lincoln having both of their backs going over 200 yards and Mercer had the same. Neither team passes the ball much and the score of both games were almost the same. I think that Lincoln and Mercer arent that far off from being mirror images of each other. Both have great coaching. French spent time at Mercer and Jaggers spent time at Lincoln. It's a little eery.

Well, I respect your opinions completely. The only time you will see me make an arrogant statement is when someone pokes at me first. I'm a fan of every team in this area when we arent playing them.

Lincoln co owns Mercer if you do research. Mercer has never beaten Danville. I think he was just throwing his opinion about who was faster. It's hard to take someones intentions when reading in message form somtimes. That's how the snowball effect of everyone thinking the Mercer faithful are arrogant. Buffalo was just stating his opinion. I think we should all be proud of our teams and proud of our area. Like I've said before, I wish the Bob Allen Classic was between the Ads,Pats,Rebels, and the Titans every year. Good luck to everybody the rest of the season and let's hope our teams continue to take pride in protecting our area from all challengers.

I would like to see Mercer and Danville play to settle that one. Now that would be a game. I think both teams have great strengths to counter against each other. It's a shame they arent playing this season. Could you imagine the crowd?

You make a good point Rick. But, I get tired of all the bashers. When everytime you try to talk about a topic and someone always starts taking jabs at you then you finally get agititated and you look for things to post they wont like to hear. It happens at every level of sports on message boards. My posts werent like this early in the season. And my posts very seldom are.

Wouldnt that be a different Mercer team? A much different team this year. Everyone is right, who knows who would be there. Myself I just hope we are so I don't really care who it is we play if we make it.

I know one area with the Titans that is totally different then the scotties is that their pass defense has been very good. They have faced 3 good qb's so far. And all three never were able to get comfortable. They have great pursuit. If Russell can keep the linebackers contained then they may very well hurt Mercer with the pass making clarke even more dangerous. I know this is a bad thread that brings out a lot of anger but it's almost playoff time and its going to be fun to see how everything plays out. Alot can happen. Mercer has to get to the third round before they can prove they are that much better then ths scotties were. If and when Mercer goes down I will be on here to take my medicine. My Raiders stink so I have to root for one of my teams thats winning atleast.

I started a thread that stated this possibility. ( Are Mercer and Western on a collison course? ) Western may very well knock out Mercer. It's very possible.

I posted that about the times. I was misinformed. Walker isnt that fast. I would say brandon is 4.4 somewhere but I would bet the farm on Jackson being in the 4.3's.

It's kinda hard since they have 7 wins in school history, New student body+New athletes=New team.

No way on that one. I've seen Western. They have equal speed in the backfield but top to bottom they dont even come close to Mercer. But back to the thread, this is what I mentioned in an earlier thread but I believe this would be a great game if it happens. I believe either team can win no doubt. You have to execute. If you are disciplined on defense then you can shut down speed by being where you are suppose to be. I believe this will be a 7 to 14 point spread at the end. And it could go either way. But we just need to get by the second round first.

Like I said before, I wasnt trying to say we have done this or that. I was merely wondering what would be the most interesting matchup in the finals if it played out. You rattled my cage and I have a temper. So I will leave it at that.

I hope it happens. I know the nemisis to Mercer lately has been Russell. That's a good idea for a thread. What would be the hottest matchup in the AA title game? I know everybody wants a shot at Mercer. And I can't blame them.

Harrodsburg's opponents had to figure out how to replace one game each. If Mercer played in 3A this year then they would have had to find 10 games within a month. Not possible.

They haven't had too many carries this season either. I'm curious to see their ypc. Anybody know?

The merge began on July 1st. How were they going to field a schedule in a month?

Every week so far a Mercer fan posts a thread about the game. Every week the same gripe comes up. It's a broken record. Mercer just can't play in AA cause they wanted an easier path to success. The KHSAA decides where they play. Nobody is gloating about beating North Oldham. I knew they were 0-6 before the game. It was stated that Mercer scored 68 pts on 30 plays. Joe Dirt was just stating a stat for the fans who couldn't make it last night.There were no smiley faces or any disrespecting the North Oldham team. I wish we were playing in AAA this year. I would rather compete each week and not have to see all the bashing on here. But, the Titans have to play the hand they are dealt. March on Titans!
