I would like to see Mercer and Danville play to settle that one. Now that would be a game. I think both teams have great strengths to counter against each other. It's a shame they arent playing this season. Could you imagine the crowd?

I think Mercer would beat Danville this year. Next year and in the years to follow, the score would be different but this is the year of the titans.

boyle has had the tough road with scheduling and being young. Danville has played a tough non- district schedule. Mercer has just landed with the egg in their lap. LOL Anyhow, as I would rank this week:

 

1- Danville

2- Mercer

3- Lincoln

4- Boyle

5- Garrard

6- Casey

 

Boyle County may not be title town again, but this may sound like a time to come up with a name for Danville and Mercer. :dancingpa

Could Lincoln Compete with these 2 teams this year?

IMO, Lincoln could very well play with these two teams. I really think that it would be a toss up. they have enough speed on their team to balance up with Danville or Mercer.

Calhoun and Miller have good speed but Jackson, Ford and Walker from Mercer are a little faster.Go to a track meet this spring and watch them run against each other. Lincoln has a good team with a couple of guys with good speed but their team speed is not nearly as good as Mercer's or Danville's.Lincoln has beaten Danville one time in school history. I'm not counting 2004 when Danville won by 50 and had to forfeit because of inelgible player playing the last play of the game but that's another story.They haven't played since and probably won't for a long time.
