I don't see a whole lot of Mercer fans on here guaranteeing victory in December. I think alot of this is brought on by other posters. I for one havent guaranteed a spot in Louisville. I spend alot of my time defending Mercer on here. But, alot of people that are posting that Mercer is going to take it all are just critics. There are just a handful of Mercer fans on here. But, I'm just looking forward to friday. I don't want the season to end myself. I love high school football.

If Newport can put together long drives all night then watch out. I think that's a must against Mercer. I don't see no other way they can be beat. Teams cant match point for point. I think thats the key. Keeping their offense on the sidelines. I predicited 35-14 but it could be alot closer. It's the playoffs so you never know.

Same ol' Same ol'..........Good luck to everyone that is alive and playing. Mercer is a good team. They play hard and respect their opponents. They are taught to play the game right by their great coaching staff. They play the hand they are dealt. They werent the dealer. They just got some spades in their deck. The best team will win whether they have 70 players or 40 players. I want to say that I'm proud of these kids at Mercer that joined from both schools who were once rivals but now teammates. What they have done in such a short amount of time being together. Roughly since july is simply amazing. They have tooken a divided town and brought it together. Somthing outsiders no nothing of. Whether you guys win state or lose next week you have laid the foundation for somthin special to build on. With the coaching staff,facilities, and great young players coming up the Titans will be a player in 5A where noone can complain about their enrollment. 11-0 with 4 to go. Take state!

I believe this is going to be a dynamite post season this year in AA as a whole. Alot of competition was already there and Mercer just added another dimension. And it's going to be open to the public. That might be a bad idea though. I expect to see alot of hard hitting the rest of the way. I just hope we hold up our end of the deal.

Coach Jaggers will not let them have that attitude. That's why they will be tough to beat. But, Newport isn't going to be intimidated whatsoever. I will predict later.

I wanna beat Newport right now. But, that would be a great game if it happened.

Lloyd is as good as anybody in Russell's district. They are a young team this year. They got behind early to Mercer and just kinda gave in. They are a good football team.

I'm just a fan but, I think a team is going to have to score atleast in the 30's to beat Mercer. They smacked a good Lloyd team tonight. 8 Td's within the first 17 offensive possesions isnt bad. I dont care who you are playing that's explosive. They can score from anywhere on the field. If Mercer plays their game I believe they are unbeatable this year. But, good teams will get you away from your game. It will take a team with a great defense. Nothing against Middlesboro but they lack that. Mercer's speed is unmatched. But, speed can be contained with a disciplined defense.

Mercer has a tough one next week themselves so you never know what might happen. One game at a time. The only team Mercer is thinking about is Newport.

What about that pass from Morgan to Ford? That was sweet! I think they are sending a message about their passing game. They have that card to play if needed.

Mercer scored 8 Td's within their first 17 offensive plays. Mercer had the ball for just over 9 minutes. The defense held Lloyd to less then 100 yards.

If either can make it to the finals then it's highly possible that record will fall. I know Mercer has averaged over 400 all year with their low being 300 yards. Now, if they do adance the competition will get a whole lot tougher. But, only one can still be alive after the 3rd round if either still are.

You can throw years past out the window. Whoever is celebrating at midfield in Louisville will have earned it. Could be anybody.

I guess if we were 0-10 then our opponents winning % would be higher. Just kidding. But seriously our schedule looked tougher before the season began. With Boyle playing the schedule they've played hasnt helped us any. Garrard Co. playing so many young guys didn't help us any. And we've demolished our district while they have beaten up on each other. It's just how it works out somtimes.

You guys beat Spencer and you will get your shot. Please dont judge Mercer from the game with you guys. I'm not making excuses but that turf was slippery that night and Mercer did what they had to do to win. Mercer's schedule looked pretty good til the season went on. Thats just how it goes sometimes.

Morgan hasnt thrown much this year. He has a good arm. But I think his numbers are less then 400 yards. But, its not because he cant do it. I think Coach is hiding some stuff.
